It's full of stupid people and sheep
And while sheep are cool, when you live in the countryside they get everywhere and it's so annoying
And where I am the internet connection is almost non-existant because COUNTRYSIDE FUU

I live in Oklahoma so all I get are the Flaming Lips. Also I don't know much about any other bands that normally play around here, but I'm gonna see Swans with Xiu Xiu in September, so I'm happy either way. <3 |

Woah, I got to think about it.
Metal used to have alot of influence on metal, but today I barely notice it.
I am sure a big part of holland is a metal fan, but you don't notice it that much anymore.
In bigger city's like Amsterdam and Utrecht maybe. |

I live in a small city called Lakeland in central Florida.
At first glance, you might think that's kinda cool considering central Florida is the birthplace of death metal.
But no.
It's a religious [crap]hole. Everyone my age is bland as all hell. The only good thing about this place is that it's in between Tampa and Orlando. Two big cities, so it's an okay place for concerts. Cause usually if bands come here to Florida, there's a very good chance it's either of those two cities. |

But loads of bands come out to play here which is really strange, so I guess I can't really complain. Loads of people come from Cardiff to see the bands so at least you see new faces all the time. |

I live in the home city of Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, Christina Aguilera, and Anti-Flag (woo), Pittsburgh. We get decent concerts here. |

When I go to Antwerp, I always visit a pub called ''De Rots'' (In english, The Rock)
Usually alot of metal fans and goths visit the pub. But I noticed they are not like the stereotype or the people who think they are one of them but are actually just trying to be cool. They were actually very nice and respectfull. (Beat that stereotypes)
Nicer and more social than those ''normal'' people in my town. :o
Anyway, there was a performance there which I will never forget.
The guitar player from the metalband DORO (YA REALLY) was performing.
I got his autograph and went on a photo with him.
Best. Day. Ever. |

I find it relevant because Doro is one of the most succesfull female vocaled metal bands in Europe.
It is quite a good feeling to meet the guitar player in a pub. |

I find that the "goths" / metal-people from my old city were some of the nicest people around. It's strange how people always seem to beat stereotypes. And you're lucky, I'd love to have a photo with someone cool. My friend always manages to get them but never me. D': |

Well, you know what the tolerant people say.
You can't tell somebody his/her personality by appearance.
That counts for all sorts of people. Including subcultures such as Gothic.
I guess there is nothing wrong with telling that I have a great respect for these people. (Aslong as they are part of the subculture because of their interests, not because he/she tries to be cool)
