As you all know, ROBLOX's exploits are mostly made up of the DLL Injection exploits to do with a Cheat Engine. I was thinking. Many, like 1pie23, have created successful anti-exploit scripts that do not allow you to add anything into the game that was not already there. ROBLOX should make an update that will permanently add that "script" into all games of all sorts, so nothing may be added, that wasn't added by the creator himself. I'm not 100% sure this will be successful, but I do hope so.

I dont think its that a success see people make there own exploits. so Roblox wont be able to patch every single exploit

People will find away around whether that be a different injector, different way of obtaining the modified roblox studio, and more.

(I don't know much about this) Would the script lag up games? ~Ibesailin'tehforum~

Derper77, a huge RPG game by 1pie23 does not have a single bit of lag for my computer, (the processor only decent), so yeah, it probably won't cause lag. Except for on those huge, crazily lagging games.

Yes, people will find their ways around these patches, but there will be at least a decent time of peace. It'll probably stop people from leaving. When people pick up exploiting again, the people will probably at least have more hope of overcoming the exploits.

People do make their own exploits, but if they patch the DLL, any DLL users will be stopped, until somebody, very, very, very, very great with programming overcomes the script.

This post must be heard and though through. (In other words, bumped).

These scripts do not work. When you inject DLL, you get the explorer opened up. Then you could delete that script. And if you cant delete things either, disable the script or just delete the text inside it. Done, you bypassed it.

DarkDemon01, Not all DLLs open up the Studio Mode. Also, 1Pie23 made it so it is impossible to bypass the script with those techniques. Also, if they actually can, STOP! YOU'RE GIVING THEM IDEAS!!! |TDD|

> DLL Injection exploits to do with a Cheat Engine Cheat Engine reads memory addresses and edits their associated values. This has nothing to do with DLL injection. ~Truth is an unpopular subject, because it is unquestionably correct.~

You need Cheat Engine to inject the DLL.

@Cobalt10 Yes, you're right, but once the memory is changed, items are added into the toolbox. I learned myself, to try to find an idea to patch the exploits.

Memory values don't work in that way. I'll admit that DLL injection can be used to exploit the ROBLOX client - causing the Studio window to work in servers or whatever you want - but that's not what I'm talking about. Cheat Engine isn't capable of doing that unless - and I highly doubt it - you can add items and toolbars by simply editing a memory address. ~Truth is an unpopular subject, because it is unquestionably correct.~

> You need Cheat Engine to inject the DLL. No. No you can't. You cannot do that at all. Memory editing has *nothing* whatsoever to do with DLL injections. You cannot - in any way, shape, or form - inject an entire DLL into a memory space by means of editing a single 32-bit value. ~Truth is an unpopular subject, because it is unquestionably correct.~

What? You can use Cheat Engine to inject the DLL, it's simple.

Really? Enlighten me as to how the hell a single DWORD equates to an entire file. Go ahead. I'm listening. ~Truth is an unpopular subject, because it is unquestionably correct.~

Cobalt10, actually, Cheat Engine does have an "Inject DLL" utility that most DLL-injecting exploiters use now...

Cheat Engine 6.1.....

#71364816Tuesday, July 03, 2012 2:52 AM GMT

> I didn't even understand that, sorry. Cheat Engine is a utility primarily used to edit values in memory addresses already created by a running program. A DWORD means simply a 32-bit unsigned value. ROBLOX is a 32-bit program and thus will use DWORDs when creating memory values. DLLs are entire files. You can't use memory editing to inject a DLL. But, apparently, Myrkos tells me that Cheat Engine has an inject DLL button that I did know existed so.. ~Truth is an unpopular subject, because it is unquestionably correct.~
