Explanation for experienced forumers: Self-explanatory. Explanation for noobs who don't use their brain at all: It's a COMPILATION (i.e. a list of ideas that was not all created by me, but also by other people, and also ideas that were not made at the same time) of IDEAS. What is an idea? An idea is when you imagine something that can help benefit ROBLOX (at least in the case of ROBLOX S&I) and you make a thread and people give feedback. IS THAT CLEAR? Clear means that you understand. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? -- 1. Outfits Oversuggested, yeah. But no one cares. It's still an awesome idea. If you're unfamiliar with it, the outfits feature would allow you to combine certain hats, shirts, pants, T-shirts, etc. to make, well, an outfit, that you can put on whenever. -- 2. Minimizing spam This is one of my best spam ideas that I have ever created. There will be a button beside every comment that says, "Report as Spam." Clicking this will open a menu box, and the box will contain information about what the report as spam feature does. What does it do? If you confirm the report and send it to ROBLOX, the mods will check it. If they deem it as spam, they will delete the comment immediately, and not only that but they will also delete, automatically, EVERY other comment with the exact same text. This sounds far-fetched, but spam is all very similar. There aren't so many variations as it seems. If the mods don't deem it as spam, nothing happens. In this way, after a long period of time, almost all possibilities of readable and original spam will be blocked. -- 3. Forum configurations This forum is a pre-pack, yes. ROBLOX, however, should remove this one and pick out a better one that contains font sizes, font colors, italics, bold, editing, etc. I would personally also like to be able to remove threads from my Top 25 list in MyForums, because some never go away, and I don't post on them anyway. I'd also love to be able to see the Top 100 threads I've posted on at the most. -- 4. Shouts I'd like to be able to see the shout history for each individual group I'm in. It'd be especially convenient for OBCers, who might not care about seeing that F.E.A.R. has once again spammed 1,864 shouts while he was away for ten minutes. I'd also like to be able to see the names of the people who made the shout, so that if someone says something important, and it gets overshouted, I can still see who said it. -- 5. Don't lock/content delete threads. Just remove them. Locking prevents users from replying, but not from reading the content. Content deleting prevents users from reading (but they can get a general idea from the replies) but not from replying. How about just removing the idea completely? -- 6. Delete old threads. Threads that are more than 6 months old are just necrobumps waiting to happen. Since no one is reading it anyway, and it's against the rules to reply anyways, how about just deleting the thread? -- 7. Underline words that break the rules in posts. I hate getting "Sorry, but your thread is breaking some ROBLOX rule." and it not telling me what the word was. After typing up a multi-thousand word post and finding only ten minutes later that I typed up "shirts" without the "r," I realized it would of been a lot more convenient to have a system that underlines the word for you so you don't have to look. -- 8. More noticeable notification when you get a message. It's so unbelievably inconvenient to get someone's attention on ROBLOX. Follow them to a game, and it either says "The server you requested is currently full" or "The server you requested has ended." If I send them a PM or a chat message, they usually don't notice it either. At least make a 5-second beep and a GUI that opens up on your page when someone sends you a message (which would be optional). -- 9. Sensible recommendations The game recommendations at the bottom of the page make absolutely no sense whatsoever. I believe that these recommendations should be determined by monitoring what kind of places you usually go on, what genre they are, which places users play that also play the one that you are currently on, how often you go on certain games, etc. Also, maybe a feature in Account which you can configure, telling the system to search for good swordfighting games, good tycoons, etc. that you haven't played yet. -- 10. Moving Let us be able to drag our places around to different spots, so that we can organize them better. Let us drag our friends around to different spots. Let us drag our clothes around to different spots.

1) Yeah, I'd like to see that too. I hate having to go through 400 hats to find the one I want, most of the time having to go through them twice or thrice because I didn't see it. 2) Now, what would happen if mods accidentily marked 'cool' or something as spam? ROBLOX website crash, lots of comments deleted. No support. 3) The forum is neat as-is. Font sizes, colours and so would make it a chaotic mess of colours and sizes. 4) As long as we can remove things from the shout history, and the shout history is optionable, yes. 5) It's not that simple. 6) Threads sometimes last years before dying. 7) Yeah- no. You could bypass the filter easier that way. 8) That's very convenient for me. I'm in a scary game, BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP. By the way, the script would lag ROBLOX up a lot, and I always see it when I get a new message immediately. 9) The reccomendations are featured places; they're sure to be kid-friendly, and they're already chosen by the place you're currently planning to go to. 10) We had place-organizing, but for some reason they removed it.

I support this, however I'm a bit worried about #2. -Torpedo17

2) Now, what would happen if mods accidentily marked 'cool' or something as spam? ROBLOX website crash, lots of comments deleted. No support. -- "Website crash" is a little exaggerated. Plus, "cool" cannot be defined as a good comment, in any case. I did forget to mention, however, that this would only be for chain spam. The mods would be specifically told exactly what to look out for (and it's not hard to spot if it's chain spam or not). -- 3) The forum is neat as-is. Font sizes, colours and so would make it a chaotic mess of colours and sizes. -- That's what I thought as well, but there's absolutely no way to express yourself. You only think it would be chaos because people would abuse colors and sizes to make annoying fonts. Well, mods will include "annoying text color/size" as spam as well. The forum is plainly dull on first sight. -- 4) As long as we can remove things from the shout history, and the shout history is optionable, yes. -- I don't see why it would be a problem. I'm talking about a tab that lets you see the history of shouts made from one specific group. -- 5) It's not that simple. -- You're not giving me any good reason to support that statement. If you're going to tell me something isn't simple, you're going to tell me why, otherwise you're just looking for attention. -- 6) Threads sometimes last years before dying. -- This is in contradiction to the rule which is "no necrobumping." A thread is defined as "old" if it's more than 6 months of a.ge. Old threads should be dead. What we're talking about here is whether a rule should exist or not, and if it should, then it should also be enforced properly. -- 7) Yeah- no. You could bypass the filter easier that way. -- Another ridiculous nonsense argument. Apparently you're not looking at my examples closely enough. This is for the player's convenience. People bypass the filter. It's a rule, but no one abides it. You're not about to tell me you're completely against bypassing the filter, are you? If you do say so, it's a plain lie. What you don't realize is that not every filtered word is a swear word/inappropriate. It depends entirely on the context, and plus, if someone makes a typo (like I did) it can take ages finding the word I misspelled. Plus, ROBLOX is so tight and secret about their rules, I can hardly know if I made a typo or if I said a word that wasn't allowed. What's important about a filter is that a user understands which words are unacceptable. I don't understand all of them, and that's plain ridiculous. -- 8) That's very convenient for me. I'm in a scary game, BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP. By the way, the script would lag ROBLOX up a lot, and I always see it when I get a new message immediately. -- >"optional" And plus, you might see it, but I hardly ever do. You're not about to tell me that one GUI will make your server crash, are you? If you don't agree to it being a beep, then just make it one tiny pop-up ingame. I don't press ALT+Tab every 5 seconds to check if I have a message, which is why it's difficult to contact someone on ROBLOX. -- 9) The reccomendations are featured places; they're sure to be kid-friendly, and they're already chosen by the place you're currently planning to go to. -- They make no sense. I go to Sword Fights on the Heights Original, and I get: Call of ROBLOXia, Apartment Life, Logride, and Kick Bob Down to Win! What does any of that have to do with swordfighting? -- 10) We had place-organizing, but for some reason they removed it. -- Do tell me if you support, it's so frustrating when people tell me "Oh but this existed at one point," period. Firstly, I already knew that, secondly, that isn't proper feedback for the idea. Something tells me your knowledge of my behavior towards me is getting in the way of unbiased, well thought through and proper feedback. Read my replies carefully and don't turn it into an argument, I've seen these ideas multiple times in S&I and thought about each and every one of them a little every time. I'm experienced with them. There's a reason I called it "S&I Best Ideas." Most of these ideas have been supported by Alex4897, watevs44, frozengaia, and many other famous S&Iers. You not supporting them is clearly just a matter of either biased arguments, or failure to properly read my whole thread.

@Swordism Worried? Explain, please. It will work, because: 1) Both player and mod will look at the comment in turn to determine if it really is spam. 2) Only chain spam will be blocked. 3) Chain spam has to be readable, and it has to include important phrases like "copy & paste" and "10000000 ROBUX." If we block enough possibilities, there will be, at one point, no "readable" chain spam comments left. 4) If we block enough possibilities, most people won't try to make new ones. Most spam in ROBLOX is all the same, copied & pasted thousands of times. The biggest reason we have so much spam today is because so many newbies think it works and copy it. If you still aren't convinced, read my other two anti-spam ideas (see idea #3): http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=62006784
