@Zan, most clans nowadays are uncivilized and attack bases. Pretty much every clan has had to put up a base for raiding as a result of this change.
There are still civilized clans that will have battles on a battlefield, but that's very rare. |

@Flunken, theres a limit to what people can do on ROBLOX and lets face it, no one who has sense it just going to give their ships to someone their at war with to put in a server... |

Having "Space Servers" is a good idea... Although this could be done, to a smaller scale, with scripts. |

@TheUnstable, there's no way to reverse engineer a place teleporter to take a vehicle with you. The universe update is for your own maps, too. |

@Undefiant, You're right!
However, what I was thinking about was a "Superplace" which would have everything in it... Including maps and all. Of course, ROBLOX can't support enormous places (hence the "to a smaller scale"), but it can be done. For example one could spawn in a "Neutral" orbital station, with a dry dock, etc. To prevent people from just "flying" around to non-authorized areas, this small part could be boxed in invisible bricks. Then, teleporters (such as the one I made, which is still in beta testing though) could take players to various areas, them too boxed in invisible "containers". The planets could be generated from a script, which chooses from a variety of strting "templates" of planets and positions (to avoid having two planets CFramed in one another - although this could be interesting...), or simply generates them at random.
I'll try to implement this in one of my places, but it would, of course, be better to have a special kind of place just for that...

Great idea, ROBLOX currently doesn't support space games very well. But do you have any idea how much memory is required for 100+ people??? It would blow ROBLOX's server computers into a mushroom cloud. |

It's more demanding to run a Minecraft server with 100 people, I've done it on my pc and it was fine for a few weeks, until the power went out.
(Still get blackouts in north of england) |
