The armor takes no harm from magic, and it's dulling the magic nearby. Hmm...

She mutters some mystic-sounding lines, and the stones around you glow, reminding you uncomfortably of the trap that that mage caught you in to bring you to the arena. |

Colette grabs a nearby sword.*Okay..okay..Don't panic. You never used a sword before but there's a first time for everything.*Colette thought trying not to panic. |

The purple-armor person draws a heavy, two-handed greatsword, and twirls it around with one hand. |

Miss, again. Oh, and the dagger cuts off a few pieces of your hair.
The armored person twirls the sword around again, then switches hands, twirls, and then charges at you with the sword over their head. |

Rita growls and casts another fire tornado and launches it down the hallway.
Colette almost dropped the sword in fear of the charging warrior. She tries to run away but trips over a dead body. |

Your fire tornado hits something... You see a dead body just standing there, then it suddenly pitches onto its face.
There's a sudden thunk, and the warrior trips, too. A crossbow bolt has hit him in the back of the knee, where there's no armor.
He used to be an adventurer like you, but he took an arrow to the knee. |

*A crossbow bolt? Could it be the hunter?*Colette thought.*Doesn't matter now!He has a weakpoint where that magic resistant armor is open!*She casts Shadow slash on the exposed leg and if that doesn't.work she'll try stabbing it with her sword.

You're not getting anywhere doing this. But you do dodge.
Doesn't work. The armor doesn't just directly protect from magic, it also dampens magic nearby. But the direct protection still applies, even if the armor is broken. However, he's not dead, so your sword slash doesn't work. He grabs the sword with his armored hand, and bends it. |

The armored guy starts to struggle to his feet, and grabs a heavy rock with one hand, intending to smash your head.
You get out of the area, and notice that...
A. You're missing several locks of hair
B. You don't have the magic sword
C. There are more people attacking you
