Several shuttles are sent through the atmosphere to drop troops to occupy the capital city, and demand a planetary surrender, with the conditions that all slaves are left on the planet. |

The first space combat occurs between the 'rebels' and the Ferros Empire. A Ferros patrol is intercepted by a rebel fleet as it enters another system. The rebel fleet, being much larger, open fires with missiles and mass drivers. The Ferros patrol manages to beat off the missile assault with point defense, but is significantly damaged by the mass driver storm. With the slave ships lightly shielded an armored, the Ferros ships easily punch through their hulls with mass drivers, and break shields with lasers. After a few more volleys between the two fleets, the slave fleet comes out victorious with less losses than expected. |
