I know that this has been over suggested countless times, but I have an Idea that is actually quite good and fun.

Looks: Simply go to hats, and click the new: "Create button" (Note: There is not create button yet. :P)
How to make a hat: You don't literally make one, you customize it. After retexturing it, click the create button, and select it from your models.
Price: This costs 10,000R$. Why? Because this is your own, personal hat.
What you CAN’T do:
-Copy/Customize limited items.
-You cannot make a hat that is not on sale.
-You cannot sell this.
(Note: You must own the original hat before you can customize it.)
-Solder

2.why not make it sellable if your paying 10,000 robux for it then i think you deserve the right to sell it |

I don't think it should be 10,000 R$. It should be relative. Maybe an extra 10% to customize a hat. So if the original is 50, you'd pay 55 to make your own. |

I don't think you should be able to sell it, because if you retexture a hat that's worth, say, $10,000 robux, you could make an absolute fortune for selling it for less. Like crazy fortune. And you maybe didn't even do anything; you could just copy the hat. |

Yeah, but then you could just copy really, really expensive hats (past 10,000) and leave it alone, then you would have saved hundreds and even thousands of Robux. |

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH. Okay, sorry, you had me confused there. Well then in that case I'm not sure why it should be so pricy. Honestly I don't see why you can't do it for free: it'll add a bit of spice to all of our characters and make the world a bit less uniform. Of course this sounds like something that would be BC only.
But then the problem is buying the cheaper of the Dominus's, and then retexturing it to look like the more expensive ones. |

It's not BC only.
*Facepalm* I forgot to mention you can't make anything similar to another hat style, color, etc. But it has to be the same type of hat.

I know it's not BC only, but personally I think that what Roblox would do is make it free (or cheap) and make it BC only. Personally, I'd be okay with that because it sounds fairly reasonable.
Also if you aren't aloud to make it look like a similar hat, you'd need to make sure you have mods with good memories so that they'd recognize any copied design. |

Why dont you make it so that instead of making the hat you buy a basic white hat and you can mold it and color it to your liking |

You'd have to know what hat to compare it to though, which is what I'm saying. Although now that I think about it, I suppose you'd only turn one Dominus or what have you into another, and that'd be fairly easy to check.
Yeah, I guess it doesn't matter with most hats because few are different versions of each other like Dominus. |
