-Officials cheer and hold celebrations for the peace, they claim a stronger more industrious Italy will come out of this war, they promise that within a year, government claims for financial issues during the war such as the US bombings will be resolved completely with federal funding saved for relief during the war, a total of 2.3 billion euro's expected to compensate for both foreign repairs and internal finances.
-Official's secretly intend to dominate the market with their oil surplus rising through the roof, using it as a campaign for Italy to dominate the world market while the US and USSR are at war and allow Italy to surpass the US and USSR technologies.
-Trade reopens, and shipping booms even larger than before due to the lapse of goods.
[Military]
-Soldiers return home figured saddened, but end up being excited, parades and musical festivals are all throughout Italy as the Armed Forces return home to loved ones and celebrate the wars end surprisingly well, intent on Italy showing it's colors as a superpower able to stand toe to toe, and intend to surpass it within years.
-Technology research goes to overhaul, as hundreds of patents are launched by private arms and armor companies to improve over the US and USSR weapons.

-The Navy orders a phenomenon in Italian Naval History-One thousand ships to be built within four years, costing the government Armed Forces funding a major chunk, but with the economy going the way it has been, it is expected that finances will be no issue. Naval Shipyards begin calling on all forms of help and hire private contractors to make certain parts of the ships. They will all be technologically up to date and special ways of construction will be used to allow for easy adaption as technology continues.
-A massive Armed Forces campaign re-launches, a suspected largely successful one at that from the war, the success of the ISF forms a reputation throughout the world, as the very definition of 'Elite' from their early successes, they begin to be compared to the US Army Rangers and CBK, some even suggest the KGB as extremely equal matches just from the early success, it is imagined with hundreds of men as die-hard soldiers as the elite task force of the century.
-Hundreds of US and Canadian soldiers are shipped off from comfy quarters in Cyprus at a high class POW Containment Center with even better living conditions than most at home, they look saddened as they are flown home to the US and Canada, expecting immediate sending to the front lines in Alaska for a second tour.

Government
We do think the Italians should have 1 punishment. The trials of the commander who ordered the attack on a civilian oil well and the commander who video taped the execution of 300 US soldiers. We say that UN should hold a jury trial since those were horrible war crimes and should not be overlooked. Other than that Canadians are happy for peace as blood is being spilled with young boys when we could have solved it through diplomatic affairs.
Homefront
Canadians rejoice at peace. A celebration like the ones at VE and VJ days occurs.
Military
We release the 4,439 of our 4,500 POWs. The others are not going to be released until Italy responds to the trial demand. A Canadian officer is photographed having a cup of coffee with an Italian officer. The photo are in newspapers all over the world. The reason why is because this is one of the first, possibly the first, photo taken of peace. The other POWs are given a more free time and take a tour of Toronto with their guards.

[Foreign Affairs]
-Italy does not want to have either prosecuted unless the US are prosecuted for shooting Italian patrols before instating war on Italy as an act of pre-mature aggression and in all violations of civil neutrality code of conducts. |

Government
Canadian officials agree to hold trial on the US patrols but they say the charges should be less severe. Saying as that the Americans were attacked first but nonetheless they should be put on trial and thank the Italians for reminding them of that.

We work hard to keep Canada up to date. A band of scientists refuse to work since they are being used to 'kill the world' not help it.

A CBK agent is going to assassinate the lead scientist in rebellion. He has a M14 with a high powered scope. Police are unknown about the operation but he is armed with a C7 as well. |

Many americans are glad to see another front of the war close.
United States Armed Forces:
The U.S military unvails the XM-16X2, a smeiautomatic only, 5.56 SPECIAL caliber, designted marskman rifle. It comes with no iron sights, it has a single rail for optical attachmnts, a 3.4X scope is attached. Now with the Mediterranean campaign is over, 70% of all U.S combat troops are heading for Europe. The U.S navy goes into overdrive on nuclear powered submarine production, mainly Skipjack class and George Washington class. The M113 is given to armored and mechanized elements of the U.S army and marine corp, and can travese water. U.S POWS arriving back in the states are given a four month peroid of leave before being called back into service.
Goverment:
The goverment accepts Italys apology.
Space:
All launches are on stand down.
International:
The U.S agrees to the war trials, they also hold the Italians responsible for distributing the news to thier family memebers and shooting the civlians. All Italian POWS are released back to Italian aboard a passenger liner, they got a tour of NYC before departure.

We nominate Britain or France to sign the treaty in. The reason because they were not involved in the conflict and our allies with all 3 countries. We say the trials should also happen in those countries for the same reasons. We say we do not care which country as long as this can be solved and be put behind 3 countries who blew a argument up too much.

-Italy sends forward the two sergeant's that were responsible for going to such extreme measures without order to fire, saved radio transmissions report that the General did not authorize the shootings, but records show that one of the corporals siblings was one of the patrols killed by the US, giving an insightful glance at the reason why he ordered the executions.
-Italy returns to it's seat at the UN, they remain silent as reported to be suspended for an entire month, the ambassador's look resilient on their chair at the top of the UN Staging in the far back, giving beady eyes to all who talk.
[Military]
-Scraping some useless equipment or destroyed tanks provides a steel surplus, saving some expense on the ships.
-Beretta arrives as one of the private arms dealers; they came through. They provide a new revolutionary weapon they have been working on years prior to replace the current Italian Sidearm, an M9A1, a pistol designated to be lightweight, effective at mid range and with a fourteen round magazine, with 9x19 mm Parabellum round that will go understudy to increase it's effective range, recoil, and accuracy over the course of two years through simple improvements rather than buying a whole new model.
-M9A1's are bought by the crate load, it's first dispatched to Academy's for teaching on the weapon logistics, effectively starting to replace the standard Beretta Pistol that Italy previously used. |
