He's got a 2-RBI night, which is better than 5 strikeouts, but he is still not focusing on the ball enough to drive it as often as he could be. I understand donny will argue that the pitching staff of the Giants will hold off Harper but I can just feel that Harper's going to get so frustrated by the time the Giants come around he's just going to want to drive every pitch and eventually he's going to start doing it again. His first outing in the heat. He only allowed 2 runs against the Phillies a few days later, and that Phillies lineup still had Pence, Victorino, and Howard and Utley were back from their injuries.

He is 4-1 since his terrible road trip before the All-Star break. Probably going to be 4-2 now because the lack of run support from today's game.

Donny I'm just saying that I think it will end. Plus, our entire staff is really helping our pitching team out with run support lately, I think Harper's gonna get tired of being the sac-fly that drives in Zimmerman or Lombardozzi. Davey says he takes a thousand swings a day in BP and sooner or later he's gonna figured out what's wrong with his swing and correct it. The whole ballclub is supporting him through one of his first rough patches, really, and it has to come to an end sooner or later. ⊂=-҉Ξ҉-=⊃ Nobody said it was easy.
