Hi, me and my friends were gonna make some movies on roblox here of us just gaming. what would you guys recommened as a good video capture software and a good microphone?
whoever is the best help will most likely be able to be in one of them. thanks for your help and time, those 30 seconds. |

For video capture software, I'd recommend either FRAPS or CamStudio. FRAPS is good for when you want good raw footage for editing in a professional editor. However, it takes up a ton of space, especially if you are filming full screen. CamStudio is also pretty good, it allows you to choose the compression that works well for you, the quality is great, and it comes with a built in editor.
Both cost money though. |

That's up to personal preference. Do some research on the internet to find what microphone/headsets fits your needs, or go to your local electronics store and check out what they have. |

Have. Bought today a impossibly hard to understand 80 dollar microphone. its the turtlebeach bravo limited edition. worker at best buy said it was good for the price...its impossible! its says its wireless, but comes with 3 cords. ik the best one is a astro a40, but is 200 dollars, and i dont have that much. |

If the problem is volume (Which I'm assuming it is), it's not the headset's fault. You can turn up the volume for your microphone. I don't know what operating system it is, so try Googling it. |

my snagit (a expired free trial video capture) wouldnt let me see how it sounded so i tried audacity (very old i think), and there this weird sort of humming/hissing in background when i speak.

Oh, are you talking about background noise? Audacity can edit it out. Record your voice clip, and then go to Effects>Noise Removal. |

I use hypercam, if not then the Roblox recording system that is provided.
But hypercam is quite unreliable at keeping the audio in sync with the video. |
