I have a question regarding ROBLOX Smooth terrain mixed with building.
If someone where to make a entry for EBR using smooth terrain, but also mixed really good building in with it, is that acceptable? I've talked with a few EBR members about it, and one of them by the name of zoran told me this exact quote:
"If you want to use smooth terrain for a entry, go on ahead, but be sure your building is excellent and make the smooth terrain look really good."
I'm working on a few places (whenever I feel like sci-fi and whenever I feel like a historical era build) that both use smooth terrain but combined with good building complimented by a few EBR member's, Urbanize, iSubzeroalpha and zoran, Urbanize said the smooth terrain looked really cool and added a cool effect to my place called thang (Yes I know, it's not a meaningful title and has no description, but it's a western mining town based in the gold rush) and told me pretty much what zoran said about my place.
So in a nutshell what I'm asking is if smooth terrain entries are even allowed or if they are allowed but they must be used according in detail along with detailed building? |

Smooth terrain is a bit tricky to judge on really since it is not very hard to use, but of course if you want to use it for your build go ahead. But we'll be focusing mainly on what you have built using primitives (parts, plates, unions and so on). You can see the smooth terrain as an addition with less "value". But as long as you make it good we won't mind.

I have a question... I am building my first showcase (that I will probably use as an EBR entry), but I need to know if houses are overused as entries. Because, if they are, then I'll just finish my house, and then start a new project that will be my entry. |

What i'm working on at the moment. https://www.roblox.com/games/329139343/The-hangar-WIP
Planning on MAYBE applying once it's complete. For now,only the hangar's structure and few environnemental items such as the plane are complete.
Just wondering if anyone could give me suggestions on how to improve/modify it to meet EBR's standards ? |

So I wouldn't say I'm the BEST builder but I can build quite a few things
I just have a few questions...
1: Once I get into the EBR (if I ever do) do I have to do anything to maintain the fact that I'm in the group? What do you do once you get in?
2: If I was to make multiple submissions to get in and a few failed, would my chances of getting in decrease at all?
3: Is "Futuristic" an acceptable genre? (using lots of bright neons with contrasting Black & White)

1. Once you're in then you're a permanent member of the EBR. Unless you do something really stupid and basically get everyone in the group to hate you then you won't be kicked out. Once an EBR, always an EBR.
2. No, but we prefer one place although you are permitted to submit multiple entries.
3. Sure, give it a go I guess. If it looks good is really the only part that matters. And of course we do enjoy originality, so don't walk off and copy an already existing design as that is waaay less impressive than an original design.
