After showering I looked over what food was available, and I was a very picky eater. Eventually I settled on a piece of bread after seeing nothing that I like, and then when I saw no drinks that I liked I face-palmed. I went back to my room and found a mountain dew that I brought along, having brought a few, and I opened it after eating my bread and sat down in the meeting room, sipping my soda, since soda was the only soda I drank.
I also needed caffeine every day or else I'd be asleep within for hours, since I've only ever drank mountain dew since I was 5, and I was now 21, kinda shows how dependent my body has got to caffeine.

I waited as more people filled up the room and the noise level increased. That was until the same loud voice that woke us up boomed once more over a megaphone. "Attention soldiers, we are now going to put each of you into organised Teams for operations...When your name is called out, please move to the front" The man boomed.

An assortment of names were called out and each one wandered to the front to be put into groups of 5 or 6 before being escorted out of the room.
My ears perked up when i heard my name.
" Perrie, Jack
Cooper, Sam
Reyes, Nathanael
Weston Zach
Davidson Jason
Smith Demarco"
I slowly pushed my way through to the front and waited for the others, picking them out of the crowd as they moved

I finished my soda and walked up to Jack as I heard my name called. Coincidental how I was in his squad, should be fun.

I nodded my head in a greeting to Nathanael who happened to be placed in my squad, the others slowly made their way towards the group.
"You are Preacher team, make your way to Tent 11c for assignment" He instructed and pointed to the door. |

We arrived at our designated tent where a man was already waiting holding a clipboard and sitting on a metal crate. He shifted his eyes away from the clipboard as we entered.
"Howdy, You must be Preacher Team?" He quizzed. I nodded back firmly. "Yes Sir"
"Relax soldier, don't gimme that Sir bullcrap" He replied standing up and towering over all of us. "Im your command...you get missions from me and ill give you support out in the field...understand?" He asks. |

I barely held in a laugh, this was seeming way too much like a videogame I played years ago. "What's our first mission then?" I asked.

"Nothing too intense fornow, you have to patrol a nearby village called Wabuah. Its believed the USAN troops are moving weapons convoys through the area. If you spot any suspicious activity report it to me and ill see if its a threat. Take the Humvee from the vehicle depot and see what you find" He replies.
"Oh and the locals aren't to friendly to anybody they don't really know...try to get on their good side" He added.

I wandered back out of the tent and looked for the vehicle bays. Sure enough it was marked with a large sign. "Who wants to drive then?" I asked the group. |

I take the map and unfold it slightly, scanning it for any indication of where we are. I check the map co-ordinates that correspond with the co-ordinates on my GPS system and eventually i found where we were.
"Were slightly east of it, if you head right we might hit a trail or something" I say rotating the map around to confirm where we were headed. |
