Good suggestion, Being able to host servers. If I wanted to have a team deathmatch with friends only on a place that isn't mine, I could use this suggestion, it allows for people to host a server then name it so that their INternet Protocol is concealed, if they put in their Internet Protocol, the creation is disabled. At the play button on games, it says host a server? Click that, and it says, WARNING: ASK YOUR Guardian BEFORE DOING THIS, IT HOSTS OFF YOUR COMPUTER, NOT OURS, if you hit I have asked and they said yes, it brings you to the name the server and pass wurd if you want it, then when you hit create, it starts it up on the game you made it on. It gives you a ROBLOX server file if you want to either enable only certain people come in or anyone can come in if they have the name. it also allows certain people banned. If someone wants to play on a non-ROBLOX server, they type the name in and it scans for that game, you can keep servers running with the server software and you can preset the game by putting in the place ID. People can choose to not allow hosted servers, this would help some games which need a lot of people to play or it is a ROBLOX event. This would help ROBLOX overall if someone wanted to have a private server to play against friends in a game such a conquerers or The Little Men, as no one but your friends can be allowed.

Cool idea actually. A server that you can 'rent' for only you're friends will be awesome. But sadly, if this ever becomes a reality, it would be a BC feature.

^ In a nutshell. Set up own server on your internet and name it to hide ip, you can put in a pass, or change settings in the server config and choose for it to run always or only when you open it in the folder it gives you when you set it up.

@slmnemo "It was to attract those people who can't read more than 5 sentences." Why would you want such people be attracted to your thread? Your suggestion description is more than five sentences. So even if they do click on the thread title, they won't read the suggestion anyway. Meaning that you may get more views but not more replies. It's the replies that matter, for both bumping and opinions, not views. Why not just get all of your friends into a party and make them all follow you into a server? It will be quite similar. I would assume that since it's a private server and is hoted on your computer, it will not be moderated, meaning breaking the rules and unaccepted behavior would go unpunished. This includes hacking as well. You also would not be able to use the save features or have your scores relate to the game on roblox or the KO/WO counter.

Sorry, when hosting, it still makes sure that ROBLOX servers can connect to this server if someone did something mean or rude or swore, and if someone wanted to have a raid or want to discuss something or maybe a fighting tournament but only certain people may come.

What you are really suggesting is an option to start private servers for games. This will make roblox still host the game, but allow you to configure who can join it. An alternative to personal servers with the purpose of gaming.

^ Yes, but it does host off of theirs but it still makes you in charge of it, in order to not make ROBLOX go bankrupt, it requires 200 ROBUX to make one, and you can only make one per account, I am sure by the time it has been 200 days and NBC get the money to make this, they have already paid for it.

50/50 support - nonspport. I think it's a good idea and this is what I had envisisoned when they announced personal servers, but i sincerely doubt that some kid's thriteen year-old desktop is going to be able to host ten different people from various parts of the world without creating massive amounts of lag and more than likely causing damage to the host computer. @Tahu Actually...(Geek mode enabled) It wouldn't strain the computer, but the router the computer is connected to. Most routers come with a standard failsafe called a data lock. It immediately slows down, or in some cases, completely stops, the connection if it's being bombarded with to much data, or the data is to split to function correctly. Hence LAG.

These servers do have to download everything on ROBLOX servers like the filters and other things and people would make hosting services with this, these servers also need to connect to ROBLOX about what happened when it was up, it sends how many KO's, WO's, and other important things, this would also help ROBLOX LP'ers.
