"Why not just go back before any of this happened?" He asked. He sent a silent prayer to Cosmo in his head. |

The Doctor shook his head. "THe massacar at that city is actually a fixed point in this world's history, I've been there, I've tried to change it before, it doesn't work. Some things can't change. I stopped Elric from losing control of his sword, then the sword was stolen and the town was massacared anyway. This is the end of that civilation, and we can't change that. However, we can save the life of Elric so he can control Stormbringer once we retrieve it" The Doctor explained, unware that he was probably the only one to understand what he was saying. |

"You mean this town was destroyed before time itself?" He asks. |

"Before time itself? Of course not, it was destroying during time, but during a sort of stiff portion of time. A really stiff portion, that can't be bent. And yes, I know the herbs, in fact I used to grow them in the TARDIS. Then the TARDIS blew up, and they didn't get restored with the rest of the universe for some reason. Long story." |

The blonde man closes his hands into fists.
"But, there must be a way to go back into that time period! To find out what destroyed the city, and save it!" He shouted. |

"We can go back to that time period, but we can't change it. It's like stopping Pompei, that point in time is just too stiff. Unwielding. We can't stop it." |

The blonde man simply looked down.
"I knew a guy who did..." He mutters under his breath, as he begins to walk off in the direction they came from. He sent another prayer, seeing if it had any effect on their journey. |

"Probably wasn't a fixed point. But fixed points, they're fixed! They anchor the rest of time, you can work knots into the rest of time, but if you unpin one of the fixed points, the rest of time falls apart" The Doctor explained |

The blonde man took this information in silence. Might come useful at some time...
He kept walking through the sand. For an adventure, there sure wasn't a lot of fighting so far. He wasn't used to that. |

The Doctor slapped the Hero lightly to wake him up from the cactus-induced nap. "Yes, of course time travellers, weren't you with us at the end of time? Wait, no you weren't, who are you?" The Doctor asked, pointing a small device with a glowing green end at the Heroe's face. |

"Would you stop pointing that fancy pen at me.Ah yes,I`m the Hero of Brightwall,king of all Albion and savior of my world."he said,confidently.HK,whom had already retracted his blaster,and was pointing it at Doc,looked at Page."Shall I destroy this sad excuse for a meatbag,Master Page?"He said,rather angrily."That won`t be nessacary."she said,afterwhich HK put his gun away.

The group followed, jumping through the portal one by one. Filia was the last to go through the portal- though she was in thought for a moment. She gazed out across the desert- murmuring quiet enough so only she could hear herself "Who am I? I know I am Fillia Ul Copt- but.... What am I? I am not human, that much is obvious; so what am I truly...?" before finally going through the portal with the others. |
