Seventeen
Seventeen's feet skipped him through the dirty obstacle of the courtyard to One. He looked at his two friends with an amused look in his eye.
"Don't worry," he said. "I'll take care of you now. And I won't let any monsters tear my dress." |
One
I tried to remember where the nearest source of wood would be located, like a park or something. |
~Fifteen~
I smiled at Seventeen, then glanced back at One. "Isn't there a park, like, one block away? Maybe there's some there." |
Fourteen-
Finally, his legs relaxed and lay flat on the floor. He twisted his body to watch as Four left the group, frowning slightly. Perhaps he should of volunteered? Although, he was never much help regardless. It didn't really matter if he was there or not. He turned forward once again and looked down at the floor. |
One
"I'm having a hard time remembering where the park is. But I think you're right" I said heading towards the direction the park should be located "But remember we have to stay down, we don't need to encounter any of the beasts.." I said, my expression darkening as I remembered my encounter with a beast, before I met Four and Twelve.
I was probably one of the only ones to see a beast, and I hoped it stayed that way. |
(I'm changing all of my posts to 3rd person. A derp on my part)
XIII
He finally got out of the Projectile room, and found himself wandering the museum, occasionally bumping into his fellow members. |
(Graww. Forgot to post for Sixteen.)
~Fifteen~
"Have you met a beast before? Are they big? What do they look like? Why are they so mean?"
~Sixteen~
After a moment I put my legs back down. Fourteen was right there, lying on the floor, and I watched him for a minute silently. Sometimes I reminded myself of him, not really talking. Of course, he couldn't. |
Four
The art gallery is probably the largest exhibit in the museum, though I am only familiar with two of them-- Mona Lisa, and Starry Night. It's a wonder that these two pieces of art are still in excellent shape. There are a few scratches, but nothing major.
I continue down the halls of paintings until I arrive at the storage room at the eastern end of the building. The walk there is almost overwhelming, but it's convenient for my stiff legs.
I slip into the room musty room through the door left ajar by whoever had been here before us. |
Five
I sit down on the ground, not exactly wanting to do anything, but take a nap before anything happened. |
One
"The beasts, they're the makings of hell. They're bigger, more horrifying, and seem to enjoy killing us." I said, as we approached the park. |
XIII
XIII comes back to the base camp, and moves to a secluded spot to work on his explosives. |
~Fifteen~
"Oh... hmm. I wonder why. Do you know where they came from? Or why they seem to enjoy killing us?"
~Sixteen~
I lay back, just staring at the sky. (Is it night or day?) |
(god my rping is so rusty I'M RUSTING HERE )
Fourteen-
It almost felt calm for once, the environment was so serene, the sound of feet clacking against the ground is the only thing that disturbed it. He longed to have this peace, kept so tightly and snuggly under such an area. His shoulders grew heavy at the thought of it getting disrupted by a threatening creature. Fourteen pushed himself up off the floor. |
Four
I advance toward the nearest desk, which holds my most valuable possession- a book regarding the effects of the common cataclysms. It proves helpful, but I would much prefer the artisan's journal. He had probably taken notes on the Beasts that would have been beneficent to my gang as a whole. |
(@Rock,
There is no sky. We're in a cavern city. o;) |
Seventeen
Who cared if we encountered monsters? The fight would bring enchantment to our depressingly boring life. He stared at One unblinking.
"I find the monsters to be more entertaining," he said. "More amusing." |
(Derp. I always forget details like that. Ignore that post for Sixteen, then.)
~Sixteen~
I leaned back and stared up at the ceiling. |
One
"You keep saying that, but when they're dropping you hundreds of feet from the air to the ground and your body smashes into the pavement, the life draining from you almost instantly, laugh then" I said, recalling the death of Thirteen. |
Seventeen
In his mouth, the name was a distant reminder.. I have never heard anyone speak the death of Thirteen like that before. I made the only response I could think of.
"At least he didn't take an explosive arrow to the knee." |
One
"Let's just drop the conversation, or I'll rip your dress." and with that I continued on, we were really close to the park. |
~Fifteen~
I wasn't sure how to respond to that. The death of Thirteen had hit us all hard. We were nearly there. Maybe then the awkward silence that had grown would be forgotten.
~Sixteen~
I stood up and started walking aimlessly, not really going anywhere but not wanting to remain idle any longer. |
Seventeen
I knew that tone of voice. It meant that his companion had almost snapped, and nothing short of a machine would match his threatened actions. |
Four
"Useless scraps!" I bellow, ripping page after page out of the book. "Nothing! There's nothing! It's garbage, it's all garbage!" I utter, "We're doomed..."
I slide off the desk on a meter stick propped up against its side, and crumple to my knees on the floor. I choke on a sob, and cover my face shamefully. "...And I will be responsible when we meet our doom." |
~Sixteen~
I could hear someone yelling. I was guessing Four. Was something wrong? I decided to go check. |
