~NOTE~ This is an edited and revised version of another thread. The original thread can be found here: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=7353816 I believe that all new accounts must go through a tutorial place before they can play any other games, comment on anything, send a message to anyone, etc. This tutorial would be a glorified version of the rules. Teaching you how to walk, talk, use tools, what is against the rules, and how to be a good ROBLOXian. Guests would have to go through this tutorial every single time that they "Play as a guest" Thus, slowing the amount of people who use a guest to do things against the rules and not get banned, as they have to go through the tutorial every single time they use a guest account. This tutorial would also slow alternate account production, as the person who makes these accounts would have to go through the tutorial every time they create a new account. I understand that there are user-created tutorials out there, but new users aren't required to play it, causing many new players to not do them, and making them unnecessary, as none if not any new players use them. Every other game has some sort of tutorial world, so why not ROBLOX? It would really help new users learn the ropes. Below are a few things I'd like to see in the tutorial: *Teaching users how to walk. (WASD, Arrow Keys and Press Space to Jump) Teaching users how to talk (Both Safechat, and Free-Chat) Teaching users how to use tools (Copy, Select, Delete, Bomb, Rocket Launcher, etc.) Teaching users how to use Vehicle Seats Teaching users how to use Car Tools Teaching users how to make a game ("Use your stamper tool to build amazing things!") Teaching users how to do things on the website (Send a Message, Invite users to party, Chat with users) Telling users the rules (Don't Online Date, Don't speak bad language, etc.) Telling users how to be a Good ROBLOXian. (Be Kind, Be Friendly, Don't Annoy others, Report bad users, etc.) These are not in any definite order (Excluding Teaching walking, as that is essential for the rest of the tutorial.) It would be a 1 player server,(So others cannot screw around with the tutorial) only accessable by new accounts. This may end up helping the community, because more new users will know what they are doing which will make the community have less "noobs". So what do you think? Post it in a reply below! ~I am not a Mythbuster. I am a LogicBuster.~

@Turbo There are a couple of problems with your response. First off, New users aren't required to go to Welcome to ROBLOX Building. Secondly, the help menu has very limited data. Does it tell you the rules, or how to be a good ROBLOXian? No. It does not. ~I am not a Mythbuster. I am a LogicBuster.~

This would be pretty good for new players. It would eliminate the number of annoying players, too. No offense to them or anything.

No but they just have to read the forums and the ToS. And ask questions. Not everything has to be set in stone for them. Øñę šhæłł rįšę, øñę šhæłł fæłł.

What kind of new player goes directly to the forums? -_- They either came to roblox to play games, hang out with their friends, or learn to script. Not just for foruming.

When did I say JUST for foruming? And also, what do you think the "Hi, I'm new" section is for? @OP But I agree with showing how to use weapons, those are tricky.

Turbo: "No but they just have to read the forums and the ToS." They don't HAVE to, and they don't WANT to. Like 1204 said, you can't expect a young kid to know how to use the forums instantly.

@Turbo Sure, but they don't learn many of the basics. This tutorial would cover that. It would make sure every single new player knew what they were doing before they got there. Just like going to College, you use the 12 years of schooling you got to get there. ~I am not a Mythbuster. I am a LogicBuster.~

When I was younger with my 08 account, I only knew how to play games. I didn't even know groups or forums existed, much less know how to use them.
