Sir, we have received intelligence that an enemy armored unit has set up camp not far from here.
They will most likely leave by tomorrow morning, so today would be the best chance to strike on the enemy. Thanks to spies, there are around 30 tanks, and about 40 soldier there. You can call in artillery support if needed, but it has a limited amount of ammunition and can kill your own troops.
You and 9 other squads, (50 men) as well as a similar number of tanks will attack with you. Right now, you can timeskip, prepare for the battle, or boost your soldier's morale (By giving them something to eat/drink, play cards, etc)

Kay.
After that, your soldiers now have better morale.
What now, sir? |
Target practice. keep accuracy up. |
Your squad does as told.
By early afternoon, your squad has improved a lot, although some of them are exhausted.
What now, sir?
Ethan Andrews - Healthy
James Harrison - Exhausted
Fred Terringham - Healthy
Greg Lenington - Exhausted
Thomas Andrews - Healthy |
Give them free time until 1 hour before operation starts. |
The exhausted ones sleep, the others just play cards, eat a bit, drink some water, talk, etc.
One hour flies by, luckily your exhausted soldiers are now healthy.
Your squad, after well as the others begin marching towards the camp.
The tanks just move slowly behind the soldiers.
When the camp is in sight, you see that most of the soldiers are inside the camp and the tanks are sort of just sitting around, with no crew to move them.
The patrols, spot you and begin screaming in Russian. You have no idea what they are saying, but you think they are trying to alert the other soldiers. |
They fall down, dead.
The tanks begin literally blasting off enemy tanks off the ground.
Enemy soldiers rush out of the tents, that were set up.
You begin gunning them down.
A few soldiers seeing their comrades fall, drop their weapons, and put their hands up, as if surrendering. The begin heading towards your squad, hands up.
Kill them, or let them come to your squad?
If you let them live, they could tell you some valuable info, of course you'll need a guy who can speak Russian and English fluently.
But it might be a trap... |
Kill enlisted men. Keep officers coming but check for weapons on them. |
Out of ten men, only two were officers.
One had a TT pistol behind his back, and a grenade he was trying to hide in his pocket.
The other, is obviously unarmed. |
Shoot armed one. Keep the unarmed one. |
Your soldiers do as told.
The armed one falls.
The unarmed one, keeps his hand raised, and stares at his dead comrade. |
Send thomas to bring him over |
Call in artillery to take out any enemy tanks operating. |
Around only 3 tanks out of 30 are still operating. You hear multiple explosions, and when the smoke clears out, you see that the camp now lays in ruin. |
Patrol around. Leave Thomas with POW. |
Your squad finds nothing except for a pile of rubble, destroyed tanks, dead bodies, and other unidentifiable items.
However, later in the day, your squad finds a soviet soldier, who speaks some english, and claims to have deserted.
What do you do? |
Check for any weapons on him |
He has three grenades, a TT pistol, and a canteen filled with water. |
ask that he gives up ammo and grenades until we can trust him. |
He gently throws the grenade onto the ground, before you hear a couple of noises.
He says in broken English "Time to die..." |
