Same here. I tried playing roblox on ###### 16.4, downloaded #### and everything, but it still wouldn't work... Anyone have any idea why it might not be working? |

Ubuntu have flash player and you still can use unity web player on ubuntu if you now how.

UGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I wish those ############ roblox devs would get off their collective Apple II AS$ES and make a Ubuntu-Friendly engine. If they can port it to Android, same for linux. Android = Linux Bada Bing, Bada Boom and i dont give af if it takes a month or two, i just want it. Otherwise im fixing my Windows 7 installation. ("BOOTMGR is missing." Thanks alot crappy 5 year old laptop >.<) |

Also, I don't think ROBLOX is making a Linux-friendly engine for one reason. Usage.
I get it, lots of you prefer Linux over Windows, etc, etc. but ROBLOX is intended for kids. Kids just simply don't use Linux as much as we do. They prefer and use a more user-friendly OS, Windows and macOS. And look, if you look out there, most computers and laptops for sale come with Windows.
I'm not saying Linux is bad, because it definitely isn't.
As for Android, albeit based upon Linux, is "distributed" more to the consumer market than other distros like Ubuntu and Linux Mint. You don't see a lot of phones or tablets coming out with (literally) Fedora, now do you? |

The thing is that ROBLOX ain't make a Linux port as they said that they'll loose money (typical excuse that a money-hungry greedy person would make use of).

This just keeps coming back. Roblox is supported on the Linux platform, and running it in wne doesnt work well anymore because of
1) how often roblox requires updates
2) it has an operating system check
Remember, wne is not an emulator, it doesnt emulate windows, it just recreates file path structures and allows windows only file formats to be understood. So roblox still sees you're not on windows or OSX, and doesnt let an install finish.
If roblox is important to you and you dont have windows or dont want to buy it, pirate a copy of windows xp, steal a key off the internet and install that alongside your linux installation. Then you can play roblox on that. |

actually ubuntu is better than windows bc you dont need to buy antivirus and they cant get your pc viruses |

You dont need to get antivirus on Windows either if you use common sense. Its not like viruses magically appear one day.
Been using Windows XP since it was new and ive never had a virus in my life because i didnt download shady stuff. |

I really want roblox to support linux. I use linux mint and it is AMAZING. ##### can EASILY make it for linux cause linux is open for anyone to see and even things like linux mint are open so there is no reason to not support it. |

Ubuntu is a distribution of Linux from Canonical LTD. Basically just google it.
Ubuntu has many other variants of its own that are really just different desktop environments and window managers. Stock Ubuntu uses Unity, Lubuntu uses LXDE, Xubuntu uses XFCE, Kubuntu uses KDE and so on.
Ubuntu itself is based off of Debian Linux.
Ubuntu also has other forks that are different than it slightly but still based on Ubuntu enough where they are considered forks, such as Linux Mint. |

You're wrong.
Android is LINUX. And there are a lot of kids playing through Android in Roblox
Mac OS is a Unix-like system such as linux is.
So, Roblox is available on Linux, though it isn't on desktop. |
