You know like how you can color your body part when you click, "character" in the black menu bar? Well I just had a thought that ROBLOX would create some hats that would be colorable. For example, ROBLOX creates a Beautiful Hair for Everyone(Looks just like Beautiful Hair For Beautiful people) and when you wear it, the hair would look grey (neutral). And in the "Character" page, the box with the rectangles and squares that represent your body pant colors, there would be another box above the small square that represents your head. If you click the box, choose "Bright orange," and after a few minutes of waiting, The "Beautiful Hair for Everyone" hat would be orange now on the robloxian. This suggested feature would also be great for more than just hair. There would be Bright blue tophat, New yeller ninja mask, Bright orange tie, and many more.
So what do you guys think? Too much work, flaws, glitches?
tl;dr version: I want ROBLOX to add a feature to color your hats/hairs, what do you think? |

Yes but there would be way too much hat mascers. Meaning like the Sparkle time fedora, you could color it purple and throw people off who really want it, especially with the trade system.. |

You're right, but only roblox could make a new certain hat, and make that certain hat color-changeable only. So the feature idea wouldn't affect ALL hats. |

One way would involve way too much work, other way just ruins the hat. It doesn't work either way. |

This would ruin mesh textures.
Also, you can already do this in Roblox Studio by changing the vertex colour of the mesh.
Allowing this idea would allow other hats to be forged.
Like, you could turn the beatiful black hair into the limited blue hair because they have the same mesh and just a diffrent colour.

Well, you could have this, but only on certain hats, and only certain colors. But then again, I think it would ruin the hat, sorry. :L |

It is, you just take all of the colors of the rainbow and spray a slight amount on different parts of the object instead of one color for the whole thing.

My idea was talking about coloring a hat by the 64 roblox colors, with the hat being only ONE color. Not where you can add rainbow or sparkles or whatever. |

Okay, that does make a differance, although yet again it could be abuse able, most hats are just simple re color/re textures of each other.

No, I think he means color/tint the whole hat a different color, sorta like with what you do in the "Character" menu. The "complicated" path this whole thing could take is complicated as it is, but being able to slightly add color to certain areas of the hat makes it way too complicated... |

Yeah, that would be a good idea. Even though I'm not a builder I think it would be a good idea to set different paints for maybe 50 tix or 20 robux? I don't know if that's a reasonable price but I think it would get a lot of customers! |

No Support. People can make the Classic ROBLOX Pumpkin Head look like Darkseed, or make Classic Fedora into Boss White Fedora, or a Red Domino Crown into a Domino Crown, or Golden Crown into Wanwood Crown, and last but not least Silverthorn Antlers into Wanwood Antlers. (and the list goes on.) |
