You are now sixteen. Three years have past since the last Essence.
More opportunities have sprung up now that you are older in Valcay. You have an increase in wealth, as well as job choice. The people of the city tend to like hiring fitter, older people.
What will you do in these years of your life as an older teenager? What goals will you seek to accomplish by the time you reach adulthood? Will you continue to pursue your childhood fantasies?
This is Essence II.

SERVANT: 10+ coins. Access to easy food, set of clean clothes.
WATCHMAN: 10+ coins, quarterstaff.
CADET: 5+ coins, iron shortsword and wooden buckler.
TOWER-EYE: 5+ coins, mini crossbow, 15 bolts, leather cap.
ADVENTURER: 5+ coins, dagger, compass & map of Kingdom of Valcay. [Entire country. This class is for somebody wanting to leave the city.]
WOODSPERSON: 5+ coins, dagger, moved to outskirts of town into village.
FORESTER: 5+ coins, dagger, hunting bow & 20 arrows.

Physical Description: Towering at 6'9", even at 16 Prometheus is a living, breathing death threat. He has long, blast-back hair, a thick miners goatee, one that he should not have at 16. He has dark emerald green eyes that are piercing to anyone who looks into them. He has strong, thick arms that could knock out any man. He has very dark, black skin, earning him the last name of Kālakiā [Hindu Goddess of Time, Change, and Death. Is attributed to having very dark skin.]
Personality: Calm and shy, but is ready to defend himself when needed.
Traits: ASSOCIATE, MILITIA FIGHTER, MUSCLED
Profession: BRIGAND

Goals/Bio: At the age of 13, Prometheus was thrown out of the city due to "murdering" a woman and then burning down the Grand Cathedral, the citys most prominent religious sanctuary. In reality, this woman and her associate has attempted to kill him and his dog, Kronos. The woman tracked him through the city for days for unknown reasons. For weeks he tracked through the city, avoiding this woman. When she and her associate finally cornered him inside the church, Prometheus used his dagger to stab the woman. In the process, a candle was knocked over and burned the church to the ground, killing everyone inside with the exception of himself and the priest. Prometheus and Kronos fled the city after that and have been living in the woods for two years. He sneaks back into the city using a tunnel passage in order to buy food and supplies from the friends he left behind. His only goal is to survive.
Extra: He enjoys music and carries an improvised lyre, something he likes to call a "Guitar". |
