Some things I need to get out of the way first. I DO know that players used to be able to make sounds, but due to "inability to moderate", that is no longer. What I'm trying to suggest is one of two things: - Players should be able to make music, but disable the ability to abuse it. - Players shouldn't be able to make music, but ROBLOX should give us some songs to use to fit a bunch of moods. Like spooky, happy, under water, etc. Since the second idea is very self-explanatory, I'll just talk about making it so players can NOT abuse uploading music. I have a few ideas on how to do so. The first idea is that have mods listen to it. This has a problem. A song can be long. And there would likely have to be a whole new set of moderators in order to listen to them all, even just to skim it. To thin out how many songs there would be would be how to fix this. I propose that there would be a cost of AT LEAST 5,000 ROBUX per song. I'm not joking. It's expensive, but it feels necessary. This would make it so players wouldn't upload music often, as well as players would not upload profane music. Nobody wants to lose that kind of money with no reward. My second proposition is that music would have NO LYRICS WHATSOEVER. That way, moderators could just skim over music to check for lyrics, as lyrics comes in phrases, so it'd be easy to hit a lyrical part and simply say no. It would speed up an otherwise slow moderation process. -- Having all problems with this idea being fixed, do I have any support?

"lol'd" I don't see the comedy behind that.

"How?" Did you forget to read the whole thread?

The second suggestion I believe would be the most plausible, reliable source for bringing music back. They already have a selection called "Audio"; that'd be a good start. Then the player can create their own melody that suites the setting of their place. There wouldn't even need to be moderation unless found necessary. Yes, creating custom music all teh way! ^^

What stops people from buying, and modeling the music in studio? Then everyone has the music, and a majority of the people who bought it, got it for free. No support.

"What stops people from buying, and modeling the music in studio?" Why would you turn your own music into a model to give it out? Seems like a bad idea to me.

Support except for the 5000 R$ part. That's way too much.

They used to allow users to upload audio files in "Ye olden days" (07-08) I think not sure... Anyway, they thought they shouldn't allow it anymore because of copyrighted songs being uploaded or inappropriate sounds being recorded and uploaded for bad uses.

I would LIKE to say yes, but making custom music could sneak in language or innapropiate material.

You can still upload your own meshes and audio but when you play online you won't hear/see it. Why do you think some places have such realistic thumbnails?

I do not support. WHY??? Because music takes up a TON of space. This is the main reason why music was deleted.

"Support except for the 5000 R$ part." That part was literally only for discouraging people from overloading the website with music. If you can think of a better way, that's fine, but that's just an idea I came up with.

I like the idea, but 5k R$? Maybe (if caught uploading inappropriate content) you'd get a 3-strike system instead. Strike 1: Banned for 4 weeks Strike 2: Put on Supersafechat for 8 weeks Strike 3: Prohibited from uploading any content to the ROBLOX website. LOAD "*",8,1

"Maybe (if caught uploading inappropriate content) you'd get a 3-strike system instead." I don't really like the idea of a three-strike system. It's easy to get around.
