"It starts off with small things, nausea and runny nose that steadily gets worse until you can hardly stand without feeling like everything is spinning. Your nose typically will start to bleed too and you become very pale. Sometimes a particularly strong individual can hide the symptoms for a while, as victims die a slow and painful death of starving to death because they can't keep anything down. We've also had cases where the nose will not bleed and the sinus erosion will stay at a minimum, leaving only nausea and the inability to keep food in your stomach." Lilly says grimly. "We haven't had anybody survive yet, and no cure has been released." |

I nodded. 'Ill keep my eye out for anything' I replied, remembering back to the face i saw earlier on.
When we reached the Bio-Hazardous room i read the sign. "This should be fun" I grumbled and stepped back. |

"Oh, really?" Lilly says. "In that case, you and Rouge or somebody should go with you to check it out. We'll wait here, right?" She says, watching everybody closely. "Yes, of course." Sherman says with a hesitant smile. "Though we can't stay for too long as Joseph said, 'The entire facility probably knows where we are now'." |

"In that case let's go" I turn to my left my light beaming down the tunnel and I began to walk quickly pickaxe in hand. |

"Our escape plan is to walk through a tunnel filled with hazardous chemicals?" She says, "That, requires some good planning." |

Rouge grips his weapon and follows you down the tunnel and out of sight of the others. "Sure hope you're right, I don't want to die of hunger anytime soon."

"It's not filled, though some gas is still left down in there even after they supposedly sucked it up." Sherman says indigently. "Besides, there is no other way to reach the tunnel." |

"That won't happen because my pickaxe will crack it's skull open" I gripped it as I put my hand on the door's handle. |

Rouge continues to point his gun at the door. "Don't keep me waiting here." He complains. "I don't hear anything if that is what you are worried about." |

I pushed the handle down and then shoved the door open raising my pick. |

The door swings forward and bangs open on the opposite wall. The room is lit by a slightly flickering overhead light and is empty, except for multiple supply crates with more batteries, picks, lanterns and oil, canned food, and most importantly gas masks. |

Rouge breathes a sigh of relief. "Great, you were right. Nice one remembering these." he says and grabs a couple himself, so all together you have enough for everybody. |

I smiled under my mask. "Indeed" I took afew batteries as well incase we needed them, sticking them in a pocket. "Need anything else, or we go now?" |

I fitted a gas mask over my head and rubbed the eyeholes to remove built up steam.
"I hope these work" I say checking for any leaks. |

"Nope." Rouge said.
Now you are back with the rest of the group (As I wasn't going to do anything exciting) and Rouge is handing out gas masks.

"Alex was right, we got masks." Rouge says with an approving nod. "We should be safe from the gas now." When everybody takes one Rouge puts one on himself, but faces the wall so you can't see his face when he lifts his visor. |

Masks having been passed out and donned, the group descends once more into the next shaft, which is muggy and claustrophobic compared to the last level. A wispy green smoke hangs in the air, and Sherman look at it quizzically. "They said they got rid of this stuff!" He says, voice muffled through his mask. "I wonder why they left it down here..." |
