Recently I looked through the groups page, and although I knew that a group I was searching for existed I couldn't find it, due it not showing on the People page as nobody was a member of it.
My suggestion is that perhaps a button could be added to the Search Groups tool under the people page entitled 'Show Groups with no current members', which would do exactly that.
Also, I would like to suggest a feature that allows one to claim ownership of a group that is set to 'Manual Approval' of new members if nobody is a member of the group. I believe that these would be very convenient to the community!
