Sooner or later somebody might eventually come up with an exploit that can probably copy places, or give them admin commands easily by just accessing the app's root file's or getting a jailbreak tweak which can exploit for you while in game. For example, when entering a place, all the data will have to load either in Temp, Librabry or Documents section in the Roblox app's root files. (Which is very easy to access, no jail break needed). The other problem, like I've said is people can easily make tweaks for roblox which can be installed after jailbreaking a device. A tweak on iOS is like a .dll, it will allow you exploit, add scripts etc... Even though many of the game content of the app in it's root file will be compressed and inaccessible/can't be edited adding and creating tweaks isn't so hard. So I'm wondering if the devs have stuff like this covered up or have a plan, since this is iOS it's not as hard to to stuff like this than it is on a PC. I don't my places to become in risk in becoming copied again, or enter a game and find an exploiter. :l

How is a jailbroken iPhone different from just running ROBLOX on the PC security-wise? From what I understand, I don't think the iPad app is doing anything very different from how the PC and Mac player works.

The iPad version is simply like the PC version, but it has more balanced features so ROBLOX can run on a tablet.

Tobot, let me explain. Coders can jailbreak so they can add custom things into their iDevices. What if someone coded a exploit jailbreak for the iPad?                                   -Take a Chance-

I used to have an iPod touch in 2011 which was jailbroken and I remember from the cydia app(which is like tweak, mods and add on AppStore.) there was a huge selection of tweaks to get. For instance there are add-ons and tweeks that allow you to download a YouTube video directly from the Youtube app it self, or some that give you a full download manager in the Safari browser. But there are also some that would give you unlimited coins in a specific game/app for free. There are some stuff which will increase your score (for example, look at the all time top charts of Temple Run, I high doubt a bunch of those people achived that score with out any sort of tweak.) That was in 2011 where devices mainly ran iOS 3 and 4, the technology may have evolved since then, I'm not so sure, I currently have an iPad 2 and iPad mini which I don't plan on jailbreaking. So my point is the amount of possibilities are almost endless, these tweaks can also be installed very quickly and is as easy as getting an app from the App Store. So like I said earlier, people can develop add ons and tweaks which can probably copy a game, or insert scripts and even more stuff.. Normally you can patch an exploit from a PC or Mac by a Roblox update which everybody needs to install if they want to play a game. But if someone manages to create something which can allow you to exploit on an iOS device one of the only ways to patch it is by updating the app and since this is iOS, you can't patch anything without have others to update the app, and unlike PC/Mac you can't automatically update the previous version of an app to the latest one. Only the owner of the device can so working on a way to prevent users from running an old version of the app will be very important if you don't already have it. -- The good news is that there's currently no 100% working and official for a majority of the devices ruinning iOS 6 so that's a plus meaning there would be less users with a jailbroken device.

@dominator327 If that's the thing that unlocks in-app purchases, it won't work! :D Since when you buy your BC get's processed, if they see they haven't received a payment from you then they will cancel it and you won't get BC.

Well, I don't think they could do this, as of you try to turn on a separate application while I'm a game, you automatically get kicked off!
