You can get tours around Pripyat, just follow whatever the instructor says and stay out of radiation zones. They'll take you from Kiev to Pripyat in a matter of minutes. No, you cannot get really close to the power plant, that is a bad idea and they don't allow it.

Sinii, there's enough radiation there to wipe out Europe, the only thing keeping it from leaking out is the metal cage around it that may decay with the radiation in 1000 or so years. Tell me more.
