Exactly what Coldboy79 said. Most people use it to download songs illegally, but LimeWire itself (as a program) is perfectly legal.

The program Limewire is a legal program. I could go on Limewire right now and download a commercial I saw on T.V. and that would be perfectly fine. It's the people who upload "pirated" videos/songs who are the criminals as well as the people who download these same videos/songs. One in a million ever get caught though, but it's still a growing problem.

Limewire is NOT ILLEGAL IDIOTS! The people who made limewire are nto doing anything bad. The users of limewire who put those illegal things on it are doing somthing illegal.
