No, no, no.
Because then you have ULM which goes 6-6, but you don't have a 9-3 LSU because there was 4 better teams ahead of them.
Not going to work.
My idea: The BCS Qualifier Confrences in, and 6 other Wild cards with an automatic spot for atleast 1 non-bcs qualifier team.
Gives you a 12 playoff team, with even atleast 1 non qualifying BCS team.
Idapendents would'nt count towards the non qualifiers. |

Wow. I had this same idea months ago xP
But whatever, at least a lot of people are agreeing on this. |

@double
It would work, because you just have to win your conference. Unlike the system now, where if you go undefeated you still might not have a chance, you could just win your conference and automatically be in. You could actually say "do better". |

Either what your dad has in mind, or a 16 or 32 team playoff. |

my dad has had his idea for a long time now. lol.
and double, does it matter? you win your conference. i think you should get a chance, no matter the conference. it's like the NCAAB tournament. yet no people have a problem with those mid major schools in basketball. but when it comes to football, we want to squash all the little schools?

The first time I ever saw it was in a 2010 sports illustrated article. |
