They are working on dynamic lighting, but I think it was pushed to the back burner for work on the iPad port. |

That would only create the aesthetics of light, but would not actually be light. What the OP is suggesting is that we could have a light object that would brighten up dark areas and disipate fog. |

I beleive dynamic lighting is still in development.
But im sure alot of good game designers will use and value this tool greatly.
It'll also allow me to make a map i've had in mind. |
