Yep. Another suggestion from me. So, here's how it would work. If someone posts say... 20 messages in 60 seconds, a small GUI would pop up in the bottom left corner of the screen. It would ask "Is [Player name] spamming?]. You could click yes or no. It would only ask free chatters by the way. This GUI wouldn't interrupt gameplay. It would flash, but not prevent you from playing. After one minute of voting time, the system would tally votes, and if the majority is yes, the the player would be automatically banned from the server. How is this better than the vote kick script that Roblox provides to all developers? Well, first of all, this would BAN players from a server, not kick them, meaning they can't come back and bother players again. Second, just clicking yes is less out of the way, and more known than typing "kick [Player name]". Third, several; more than half of all games I have played do NOT have a vote kick built in, which is incredibly annoying if someone is spamming. Fourth, guests could be banned from these servers if they spam safe chat, Safe chatters could be vote banned from other safe chatters as well, as the safe chatters saw the spam. Support? No support? Any improvements I could make to the suggestion?
Please don't say tl;dr.
I actually thought over this suggestion. It's not a nonsensical wall of text. |
