Okay I am here to falsify several American stereotypes. The stereotype is before the colon and the truth is after the colon.
STEREOTYPE : TRUTH
1. We are all fat: Most of us are a perfect weight.
2. We are all rich: Most of us are middle class.
3. We are all rednecks: We do not all talk with a draw and shoot chickens with BB Guns. Some do though.
4.We are people that think we are superior: We usually consider ourselves equals.
5. We are solely polluting the world: China is the world's top polluter. The only reason the US pollutes more than the UK is that the US is bigger. |
