These same people repeatedly change the titles and pictures of their places to make it look new and updated, when it is really the same generic obby/tycoon/minigame that has nothing to do with what the title/picture suggests. It is getting really annoying |

You don't get a big ol' box of supports. Why you ask? The creators of the place have a right to name, advertise, and put a thumbnail picture to whatever they would like, whether you like it or not. If you don't like it, don't go to that place. It's that simple.

I would like to offer some suggestions to solve this problem as it also frustrates me and I'm sure many more people.
Option 1: A PENALTY SYSTEM
If a user performs the act of falsely naming their places a 3 strike system could be used by Staff in the following manner.
Strike 1: Warning with a time period for the creator to fix the error they've performed.
Strike 2: Temporary ban on activating places.
Strike 3: An extreme penalty that is conducted fairly by the Roblox Team.
PROS:
-It deals with the users face on
-It should discourage it to happen
CONS:
-Such a system maybe difficult to moderate
-The penaltys maybe too extreme?
If such a system is too extreme then...
Option 2: THE "CREATOR PLACES BLOCK" SYSTEM
Basically if a member comes across a creator that they wish not to view their creations because of such mistrust or any other reasons that might occur an "Add to Vault" option could be used to allow a members account to identify the creator in future so that their places no longer show up when searching for games.
PROS:
-It can keep both sides of the coin happy without punishment
-It can work with less moderation and quicker results
CONS:
-Could members accounts block enough of them?
-Members might abuse the system
I hope my suggestions are clear and that they are good enough to help improve this frustration we have to deal with on Roblox. If anyone can add to improve these suggestions please feel free to make your input. |
