Metallica cares more about a cynderbrick then they do to you.... I mean look, they sued FIVE, not 1, 2, 3, or 4 but FIVE companies for making their songs free downloadable over internet. I saw a 5 track album from them the other day, is was 12 dollars, I saw a Sinple Plam album that was 12 track and was 5 dollars. They care moer about the money in their pocket then their real fans. You can say "Well you hate Metallica so this is just flamming and i'm reporting". One, i'm not flamming Metallica i'm listing facts. Two, I USED to like Metallica til I learned this dreadful truth.... I'm not saying you can't like them. I'm just saying while you like them, they hate you. |

Does it really matter that Metallica sued these companies? They sued because a demo of "I Disappear" was released on the radio after someone released it online. Do I think that Metallica over did it? Yes, and even Lars Ulrich admits that he did too much against Napster and other companies. And so what if Metallica's music is overpriced? The economy is in ruins and the U.S. dollar is declining, so things like records and concert tickets are more expensive. And even if they did care more about money, I wouldn't care because their music is still great to listen to. I also think that Phil Anselmo from Pantera is a jerk, and that Alice in Chains, Skid Row, Black Sabbath, KISS, Guns N' Roses, Anthrax, Journey, and Queen shouldn't be going on tour and making records with replacement lead singers and guitarists. Do I hate those bands though? No, because I listen to music for the sake of listening to music, and not for their business practices. |

Oh really? I'f they weren't making the money they want they would just quit. No new nothin. Just stop. You can't hold nothin bout me. The thing Metallica says they're making is not music, but money. And if they lose all that money and make nothing they'll stop making music. You'll say "Any band would stop making music! They can't pay for conserts and record company". So? They can still write new songs and play them in the streets. |

That post made absolutely no sense. Metallica has enough money, and could easily retire if they wanted to. Instead, they keep touring and making records because they enjoy playing music. And yet again, Metallica made some mistakes in the past. SO WHAT! Metallica knows that sueing all of those companies was wrong, and they don't do that kind of thing anymore. Every band masses up and does something wrong (making a bad record, selling out, replacing band members, sueing companies, etc.). Even Iron Maiden made some terrible records (the ones with an "X" in the title). So be a bit more forgiving towards Metallica and stop bashing them just because they've messed up in the past. |

They're still suing LOL. They have people tracking down people on Limewire who download they're song and suing.... IDK you can listen to their music ALL YOU WANT FOR ALL I KNOW but hey don't care you listening, they just care your paying for it. Thats why LOTS OF AMERICA HATE METALLICA. I kinda expected some people to say I should burn and no one to side me but funneh thing is, i'm still winehn. |

BTW if their record dealer didn't make James vocals better on some of their songs he wouldn't have went to vocal trainers to make him better.... Heh heh heh. |

You still don't make any sense. I know that Warner Music Group is doing some stupid stuff, but it's not Metallica's fault. Metallica loves their fans, and doesn't give a care about money anymore. They keep playing music because they want to entertain, like most musicians do (except for those Jonas Brothers). And MANY Americans love Metallica. Every single American show is sold out! The people who hate Metallica usually listen to pop, rap, and other crappy music. And is that joke about James' voice supposed to be funny? I can't understand a word of it. |

You make a little more sense now, but still your statements are still incorrect. First off, I listen to a wide variety of music other than metal (jazz, classical, blues, etc.). The only metal bands that you ever said you have listened to are Iron Maiden and Metallica (And we all know that you hate Metallica.....) I doubt you know who Slayer, Chimaira, All That Remains, Stemm, Opeth, Meshuggah, Snapcase, and Sepultura even are. Why did you bring up my teachers? In case you want to know, all of my grades are in the high 90's and all of my teachers believe that I am an intelligent individiual. I just can't understand your constant use of run-on sentences. When I refer to rap and pop music, I refer to garbage like The Jonas Brothers and Flo Rida that people only listen to for their looks, and not their music. There is some good rap and some good pop, but most of it is nearly impossible to find.
Look, let's end this. If you believe that the guys at Metallica are a bunch of greedy snobs who don't care about their fans, you can believe that. You can believe that Metallica is the worst band in history and that everything they have done has been pure crap. Just don't go around trying to force Metallica fans to believe this. I don't go around saying, "METALICA R GODZ CUS DEY IN GUTAR HERO AND POPLE WO DONT LIK DEM R NOOBZ" and disrespecting other people's opinions by doing so (unless they either have no reason for their claims or they start making fun of the band for no reason, which is completely unreasonable.). And in the end, we can both agree that Iron Maiden and KISS rule and that the Jonas Brothers are terrible due to their lack of originality. |

Well that what Metallica says" Then I say "Thats true... Metallica doesn't only create music I don't like they don't care bout fans" And here we are now. I'm not forcing you to like Metallica. Tell you the truth, they got good songs like roin and Enter Sandman. Just in the long run I don't like them. I think they're almost as overated as Jonas in my OPAINIAN. James did have his voice edited in One, Enter Sandman, and Orin, Then he took vocal lessons for live. |

Yeah, I'm sorrry if I've misunderstood you or offended you in any way. I know many kids just like them because "One" is a difficult song on Guitar Hero, and I can see how someone can see that they are overrated because of this. I don't think James had his voice edited in those songs, but he may have done them in multiple takes in the studio to make them sound better. James didn't sing in Orion, though. |

You got caught downloading songs? Yikes, I can understand a few thousand as a fee, but not 50 grand. I, personally, don't think that James, Lars, Kirk, and Rob of Metallica would be to blame, but rather that stupid Warner Music Group who is always wanting to make money, no matter what happens. |

True, I was downoading it so I could burn it on a C.D. when these Donut eating hogs came in and said "Metallica put a special warrant that kids under 6 downloading Metallica songs are fined moer than normal, how much you download?" Me"12 songs....." Cops "50thousand dollars" I had to do work to pay it off..... I got to 40k when my mom payed it off. |
