M'kay. I intend to use this PC for moderate gaming, not hardcore. I plan to play about five games or so on my PC. I'm not concerned about the mouse and keyboard, yet I need something for storage. Maybe 200GB to 500GB. Thanks.

6870 isn't really needed if you're only going to play 5 games. What kind of games will you be playing |

That processor is not going to be enough. |

Bump up your GPU to NVIDIA, and put a 16GB RAM slot in there if you will be playing high end games. (Trust me its not that much more $$) |

@sox
except every high-end game out there only needs 6+ max.
also nvidia =/= a tier, it's a company that makes cards, low tier and high tier ones.
@topic
I have a AMD Radeon(TM) HD 6520G (according to dxDiag) and I can run a lot of the games on the market atm (granted the newer ones are at low settings, but still, gameplay > graphics.) |

You guys are acting like an i3 is the worst thing possible. He said MODERATE gaming, not freaking Battlefield 3 max settings with multiple monitors.
By moderate I'm guessing easier games like Minecraft and basic shooters, which an i3 and 6870 would be fine on with max settings.
So not bad |

Yeah, mostly Minecraft, but I do plan to play Skyrim with all those mods. Other games include Assassin's Creed 3 and maybe Chivalry too. Though, I'm still a bit uncertain on the processor at the moment due to all of your posts, and I'll probably lower my GPU.

I'd keep the GPU. |

Skyrim would probably run fine, might just have lower a few of the settings though for better FPS. Minecraft would easily go full settings. |
