I've experienced this before, its just really annoying... So basically any large parts (like a base plate) cast a shadow onto themselves and the map. In this case I have a block mesh which i set the mesh scale to 10000,1,10000 in order to give my map a horizon and so i cant see down into the skybox with fog on and still see the sky... Any way to prevent this or work around it, or even better fix it please?

arg... setting the transparency to 0.1 fixed the shadow, but now the horizon line cuts through decals :|

I think its the mesh is to big,When its at a big number,Some faults might happen.

unfortunately that's the purpose of the mesh, even when sizing it down to 1000,0,1000 (was 10x that) there's still a shadow, just on a slightly smaller scale... however i just thought of the haxy way i was looking for to fix it, I can use several block meshes.
