Your species has traveled far in their journey, and have already colonized one of their moons, the closest, and largest, Ryos. Your scientists have just discovered a method of interstellar travel, known only as FTL (Faster Than Light), but are only scratching the surface on speed, and mining operations are on your colonized moon, to find more of the recently discovered material that fuels the FTL drive, Uranium Prime, it is only found on Ryos, and it is unknown on how it is made, but it is super abundant. Do you want to design a ship with an FTL drive, or ignore it? |

Send a few dozen of miners to mine it, then design a ship with an FTL drive as soon as the Uranium Prime gets there |

The Uranium Prime is working with the FTL drive, but you need a more robust engine to actually utilize interstellar travel. Do you want to risk it anyway, or work with the scientists to create a new and better engine?

Im not going to risk it, make a better engine, but make it so that its more experimental and have the ship remotely controlled |

The drone schematics are in construction, and the better drive should be ready in 2 posts, (posts by me count as years.) and would you like to check the other planets for traces of Uranium Prime?

The drone will be ready in an unspecified amount of time, and the better drive is nearly done, will the drone have colony protocols, where it will head to a resource rich planet in the system, and then terraform and practically strip-mine the planet, setting up other bots in the process, and then setting up a city, or would you not include colony protocols? |

I would want the drone to have a colony protocol that would search for planets that are resouce rich and would strip mine, then would search for ones that have a suitible terraformation for the Xelons and set up a city but wait for a colony ship. |

Ok, that will take more time for the drone to be completed, but will allow the drone to be more flexible, such as for attacking enemy planets by building a bot army, or just strip-mine a planet. The FTL drive is completed, it is now interstellar capable, and is compatible with all ship designs, do you want to have a scout ship immediately be built and leave (-1 UP), or wait until the drone is completed, then use it? |
