If the title doesn't say much, Polygonal Modeling is having an objects with multiple surfaces in a 3D shape or form. Roblox only has 1 poly-model and that is the sphere, Which if you look closely has many surfaces. Now, what I want to see in Roblox is having a greater variety of Poly-models, if not, giving the players an opportunity to create them. The difference between a poly-mesh and a poly-model is that the meshes don't actually have surface contact, if you put a mesh in a brick, it instantly takes the collision surface of the brick no matter what it looks like. Although most Polygonal models don't require collision, I think it will be a huge step for Roblox Users to be able to either create or use Polygonal Models with congruent surface collision. Just imagine, Being able to create rocks according to the surface, or maybe creating better collision for different bodies and models. I think this will help the improvement of Roblox games and increase the variety of possibilities. Thanks, and I hope you consider this Idea. ~Roblox is what you make of it~

And I'm not saying to bring back User-Made meshes. Don't get the wrong idea. ~Roblox is what you make of it.~

Support. Kinda hard to find the idea though x3 but I found it. If life gives you melons, you're dyslexic.

Well, If it's hard to find the main Idea, then I'll just put it here: Just imagine, Being able to create rocks according to the surface, or maybe creating better collision for different bodies and models. I think this will help the improvement of Roblox games and increase the variety of possibilities. Thanks, and I hope you consider this Idea. ~Roblox is what you make of it~

Interesting, but it'll be a little difficult for the community to use, I think. Anyone know finwei and his Countryside place? If the Builders of the place got their hands on this idea, it would be like the best place ever in roblox. (Might be going up the wrong idea)

I 60% Agreed, We need Mesh collisions. but others wont agree as you think of it. There'll be a few flaws. And Cons.

Well, also, roblox could a little more variety of poly-models for users to use, not just a sphere. The cylinder we see in roblox isn't an actual cylinder, it's actually a sphere when we consider collision.

I support, easier than C-framing, at least but I think you should try that in the meanwhile. ~The grass is always greener on the other side of the gopher hole~

@Soviet You see, there is a distinct difference between poly-mesh and poly-model. The model has the distinct collision, and the mesh doesn't. What you use on Roblox are poly-meshes, the collisions themselves are based on the model as objects. ~Roblox is what you make of it~

So basically more meshes with collisions? Support!

I love this idea. It would allow us to create two dimensional objects as well, reducing lag of a ton of building. Roblox's own terrain system uses something like this, but obviously it's limited to the way they've set it up not allowing very much customization to it.

Major support. It would be an alternative to C-Framing.

Well Now i Understood. And yes roblox should do that. But to do so, Roblox has to Organize Different Types of Studios. 3D Studio, To Manupulate Polygonal Modeling and meshes, and Edit Mode for Building, And Play mode. I Suggest Developers make their own new Studio if it has to do with Manipulate meshes, And Publish to Roblox Public (OBCs maybe). But Can ROBLOX Allow Kids to make their own Hats instead let ROBLOX it's own doing the whole Business on hats, And Not Focusing On Bug Issues and Glitches going on? How will you Agree.

To make hats and meshes, the mods use open-source programs. 3D modeling and such. Our case is a bit different.
