By 'Authentication API,' I mean a way for web developers to allow Roblox users to log-in to web pages with their Roblox accounts. This would take some of the burden off the developer and the user.
For the developer: this would mean that they would not need to scan the user's profile for a verification code. This authentication API could also allow the developer to get information about the user (if the user accepts) easier.
For the user: The user would not need to worry 'as much' about their security being exploited and would make it easier to verify that they own the account they would like to use.
This has been done before by other social networks and appears to be successful. |

This needs to be made, unless I was late already from knowing it. |

Support. But the problem is the website will have to be using LUA. Also API 's are only used in studio. But if it would happen. I 100% support it.

No.
This would make scamming 100% easier. Have you heard of a Scam GUI?
Someone could EASILY make one out of this.
If anything, a web API That enables you to auth usernames and p@$$words.
Of course, if the same user is queried 5 times in a row in the space of 1 min then it locks out that IP for 5m |

do you know how an API works?
you won't be logging into their site, you'll be logging into ROBLOX. Like when you sign up for a site with google or facebook |

Clickjacking would definitely be a concern. The best way I can think of to prevent this would be to redirect a user to a page on the Roblox Website. |

I dunno.... seems rather easy to make exploits out of..
