I'm going to ask for you guys to vote for the allowance of the word "su ck" without a space inbetween there. As long as it isn't used in a hurtful way, such as " Go su ck a..." well you know the rest, then it would be appropriate and FINE.
People say "that su cked" or "this su cks" or "that su cked" It's not like it's intended towards a person or anyone, unless used in that way. A common use of the word may be "Wow, Mike. The Ravens su cked at this game"
So I'd like some feedback. Thanks.

Yeah, I've seen actual curse words get through (Maybe just because I'm 13+), but seriously, "su cks" is like a lot of other words in that it has to be intentionally used in a bad way, and when you are going to use it in a bad way, you're gonna find someway to get it through the filter. Theres no point in filtering it from normal use. |

The word requested is a harsh word, and there are many other words you can use to describe places, or posts, or whatever you want to describe. There are words like "bad" and "dislike". If you can just use those words, why are you complaining about harsher synonyms not being available for use? |

Which one do you think our users prefer? It's not harsh at all. Harsh would be cussing, and suck is not a cuss word. If somebody is using it in an inappropriate way, why couldn't we just report?

It is too a harsh word, mostly because of the negative criticism directed toward the word. The only way to use the word and not offend somebody is "Today suc__d". |

Even if it's used as a negative word, you have to remember that idiot, moron, loser, etc is unfiltered. So suck is a matter of opinion.
If someone says that a game sucks, it's their opinion, but if it's used for no reason, then a person could be reported for rude behavior.
If it's unnecessary to report, then it's unnecessary to filter it.
