I say no. I'm running a $300 system from best buy that runs modern games horribly (like 3 fps), but I have no problem with this game. In order for things to not render you would probably have to be playing on an apple II, or maybe a Comadore '64. In reality these rendering problems probably stem from appalling internet connections or not turning the graphics down nearly enough.

No I don't think you should if you can without changing the game then maybe but don't unless you have to

Personally, I say just copy this game into a different place on your profile, and make that one less detailed. That way, people with better computers can still get the visual quality on one place, and people with worse computers (like me) can go to that less detailed version. Just an idea though; if you feel this would pose problems, then it doesn't need to happen. ~- The Muddy Buddy -~

I have a better solution, Make a lower quality Apoc. Rising game with less bricks and for people who can't load bricks can play on that game instead. Please tell me if you agree. Thanks, Taboo

The way I see it, you could have the trees with square trunks, and no one would care. I think you should leave the buildings alone though, unless those unnecessary bricks aren't visible.

get rid of some rocks there are so many in some places it is un natural looking make them spread out that could reduce quite a few bricks

i have no problems with the brick count but for others sake i just say reducing the amount of trees/rocks wouldn't hurt. i don't care much for aesthetics but i like the trees with round trunks, please leave the round trunks and in there place maybe reduce building quality, doesn't look too different fro there original.

@TabooDarkNut that idea isn't too bad, only problem could be he may only have the ability for 1 place and to link both games would be HARD.

Occasionally on start up i have invisible building issues; if i wait before I spawn, it takes care of itself fairly quickly (within 1 or 2 minutes). Also it can really help if you spawn with invisible buildings because you can check out threats but they cant see you! Lower or higher rendering is not a big issue to me. Do what you feel is right, the aesthetics are great either way. On only one occasion some time before the big map, I logged on and saw square hay bales and square tree canopies. I thought, alright! Reducing complexity to enable map growth! But the next day it was back to round hay bales and round canopies and no other changes. I would not ask you to take on a more arduous task, though. It's totally your call. Either way, the gameplay is great! Thanks again for the great gameplay, the really good mood setting, and always something to strive for. Your team continues to do an incredible job.

I'd say, keep it at a bad quality texture, but make the game run smoother for slow computers.

Honestly, I think the brick count should be reduced, because of several reasons: When I spawn, it takes about 5-10 minutes for everything to be generated, for example, When I spawn, 8-10% of the time, the baseplate and 75% of house are completely invisible. Plus, when the bricks were added, all that came was places like Cheek Pitts and more. All of the places share one purpose, this is to make a base to hide in, wanna know why? No military loot spawns in these places, which means roughly 87% Of players don't even bother heading there because nothing half decent spawns there, so people hide there giving them a less chance of getting killed, which I think is plain STUPID. (No offence to Gus and Keth, you guys done a great job, just no purpose to these areas.) For example, the only reason I actually GO to the new places is because most of them spawn car parts which are needed a lot for fixing vehicles.

I think you should reduce brick count on BUILDINGS THAT YOU CANNOT GO INTO. That should help a lot!

I don't think you should, one of my computers is an IBM Think Centre, And that is absolutely fine with it. Here are some specs 2 show how bad my computer is: 1GB RAM, shared graphics (practically nothing of it), 40GB hard drive and a single core 2.23ghz CPU

Invisible bricks are a temporary problem due to people recently entering the server. They just need to wait awhile.

I say YES because i have a computer that was made in 2003!!!!! AND IT WORKS JUST FINE.If people ARE COMPLAINING TELL THEM TO FIX THEIR ISSUES WITH THEIR COMPUTER. I have a computer that i had from 2010 and it is terrible because i downloaded a bunch of junk. I can't fix these issues because of the amount of scams are in the internet. I recommend people look in allthe junk in their computer and delete it. So YES to the add-on. -Grizz
