Nathan I wondered if I knew anyone in the audience as the music continued. This seemed to be a tradition in this school and I wondered how many other events like this happened.

(Dx You're ruining the fun) Madame Brag moved on to the fifth movement and then the sixth. Finally, finishing off the piece, she snapped her hands up a frozen gesture for the students to stop playing and then bowed. Cris I watched the Seiso students retreat off the stage as the RockRidge students took over. Their music conductor seemed a lot more experienced and a lot less nervous. As they played; I closed my eyes; I hated to admit it, but I enjoyed their piece much better than the one that had just played.

(Lol. They shouldn't be able to tell. Madame Brag is composed.) After the RockyRidge students were finished playing; Madame Brag took the stage once again. This time she turned towards the Strings section of the musically enhanced students and motioned for them to get ready to play. "Watch me," She warned. (Harp is Strings. right? I really don't know)

Matt I laid my violin on my shoulder; preparing for Madame Brag to give us the first beat. I was in the front; therefore I'd have to get the beat right because the people in the back who couldn't see Madame Brag would have to follow my bowings. Cris I watched from the audience. There was a whole Symphony Orchestra and a.. a.. was that a harp? What!? Crystal I scanned the Strings sector; trying to find any instrument of my interest, but no. None. Nothing ancient, mysterious, or different.

Matt "Watch me," Madame Brag hissed once again as she her baton hit the first beat; I began to play. My eyes were glued to her baton for as long as I could, but I was not one to memorize music. Therefore, by the end of the third measure; I had to get a quick glance back down at my music. First, it was just a soft melody of the violins, and then a harsher tone from the violas, and then a deep bellow from the cellos and basses. Lastly, an elegant chime from the harp.

Cat Madame Brag pointed at me and I watched her baton as I played. I looked at my harp and at the baton back and forth as Madame Brag directed me.

Matt I suddenly hit a wrong string as the harp comes in. I cringed and hoped no one noticed. After all, this was a large orchestra; could one person really be sought out?

Cat I had a poker face on. Must beat that school!!!! I tried to hit every note perfectly. I watched Madame Brag and payed attention to the strings. Please don't mess me up.... I really want to impress the judges.

Matt Madame Brag stared coldly at me. Perhaps the judge did not hear my mistake, but Madame Brag certainly had. With a quick motion she indicated for all of us to stop. A ringing absence of the strings echoed through the auditorium before finally dying out.

Matt I could feel Madame Brag's glare following me as I picked up my music and scurried off stage. I sunk down in one of the auditorium's seats as the other school's strings performers took over the stage. Their melody soon filled the auditorium and the judge's ears. I sunk down deeper; fantastic. If we didn't beat them; Madame Brag will definitely look to me as a target.

Nathan The strings were great I thought but I had certainly enjoyed hearing the piano even if the pianist was off.

Cat I ran to a auditorium seat carrying my harp. I hugged my Harp. Meep....... Jordan I was off..... so off...... I really sucked..... Hirano I watched as the other school played. Their good. Really good.....
