This is the official forum listing all the unit types for MA(Merciless Assault).
Rush: a.k.a raid. These units are used for raiding econ and dealing good damage at a cheap price. Counters range; is countered by riot
Assault: Mainly takes damage. There are alot of counters for assault units. Some times rush will be effective against them other times range will be effective. Assault units deal good damage to slow moving targets. Counters riot; is countered by range.
Strike: Made to knock a dent in enemy forces. This unit is best used when you're about to get crushed. It's a solid counter for massive amounts of assault bots. Counters anything it can close range on; is countered by range.
Range: a.k.a skirmisher. These units fight at range. Never let your opponent close range on these units. Counters anything slower then itself; is countered by raid.
Support: Typically can only fire when stationary. Good to pare with slow moving units for extra damage. The only unit that can hit fast moving units at medium range. Counters anything if protected; is countered by anything with good health.
Artillery: Self explanatory. Counters base defense; is countered by anything that can move
AA: Self explanatory. Counters Air craft; is countered by ground forces.
Fighter: An aircraft that can shoot down other aircraft.
Bomber: Special unit. Must reload after every bombing run
Riot: These units pack a punch for a moderate price. The more enemy units the more effective. Low speed. Counters raid; is countered by range and sometimes assault
Defender: Takes massive amounts of damage for a cheap price. Good speed. Typically has no weapon.
