(She wants to one day, but would like to be a trainer first for experience. I imagine that most gym leaders were trainers first before they got their role.)

(That makes sense and yes they all were. I was only wondering about her ambition of winning the Pokemon league but it makes sense now.)

"Yeah. It'll power up her Fire moves a lot and keep her somewhat safe from water attacks. When she evolves, I plan on teaching her solarbeam. That will cover most of a fire type's weaknesses, like Rock and Ground."
