New Badge Notification System.

The old system of Badge Notifications, "(User) has won (User)'s (Badge) award!" was scrapped. This is a pain for game creators testing them. For example: I made this: http://www.roblox.com/You-arrived-item?id=101542921 (On enter badge). A user arrives at my place and gets this badge. However, since I did not see the event, I have to go to the user's page and check to see if they got the badge, to see if it is a broken waste of 100 R$ or not. I have a plan to solve this... predicament. This is not against the WNTS because it is proposing to bring an originally scrapped feature back. When you get a badge, there are two notifications. 1. Client Side: A window saying you got a badge will appear. It will last about 5-10 seconds and will go away after it expires. It will state that you got the badge, and what you did to get it. A material item, like hats, gears, faces, etc. will also appear in the window next to the badge. Typical player-made badges will have the normal HUD portrait, while ROBLOX badges, like Bloxxer, will have an illustrious portrait, to show that you have earned an important badge. 2. Server Side: Below the Leaderboard lies a "Badge Server", listing who got which badges at what times. If its a promotional event badge, it will also say they won a material item, like a hat or a gear. This is separate from both Leaderboard and chat, to prevent ROBLOX from spamming chat with notifications. Remember to post constructive criticism, a word wall is just as destructive as a one-liner if the content is destructive.

@Nairb Ya I would not know. Last time I played they both were still there (June 2012) They should have either a chat notification (best idea) or at least an on-screen GUI that fades in and out with the badge info (local). No sounds though! Only if they are local, I hate hearing sounds every time someone joined a game... And the reason chat is the best is because its pretty discrete, stays out of the way, and lets others know what you earned. So then if there is a rare badge you gain, others will know and can congratulate you if wanted.

@mathepa I already suggested the on-screen GUI, complete with badge info. Black chat spam clogs chat and stacks the odds against bubble chatters. Hence why a "Badge Server" below Leader-board, so I can see chat and not constant badges. Sensitivity to sounds can be solved by muting sound when ROBLOX releases a sound slider, or now via the Sound menu on your computer.
