ROBLOX 2.0 crashes sometimes, is over-complicated, and has many more troubles.
This thread needs to live at-least long enough so that the admins can see this.
ROBLOX Admins, your efforts are true, but you need to test these things more before you release them!
All the updates you make that people complain about?
They are because you did not run nearly enough tests on your product before
letting us use them. This is a bad thing to do, for any game or website!
They say it is still Beta so we should let it slide, but Beta is either one of these two:
Closed Beta - Only select few test -
Open Beta - People can test freely -
Studio 2.0 is acclaimed Beta, but yet fits into neither of these categories.
It is technically not in Beta, it is out of Beta, so this cannot be used as a valid
excuse to why there are so many glitches, as it is forced upon us in a way that determines it is not at all in Beta testing.
Please, ROBLOX, test your product before releasing - It isn't correct to give us half of the finished product if we cannot at-least use the already working version!
(If you let us use 1.0 until the bugs were fixed, but still let us use 2.0, that would re-classify this as "Open Beta".)

studio 2.0 isn't user friendly like classic
classic looks simple and everything fits right.
but on 2.0 it looks all advanced and not user friendly

Was a fine update, been using the classic studio for 5 years now (minus a week for my cakeday)
Are there bugs? yes.
Is this better? Too early to tell.
Should you whine about every little change? no
I've been using classic studio for almost 5 years and I adjusted to the new one in about half an hour, found some issues, has major bugs that classic had, but it's a better version.
People whining about it changing have been using it for less than 3 years?

I'm not pro the force-update, I am pro the studio update though. It needed to be updated, it needed to be changed, and this will bring in more players than those that will quit because of it.
While I would love to have my old studio back, the new one is just as good. And considering I've been using the old studio for up to 5x longer than some of you "veterans" if you can't adjust to it, then something's wrong. I could function almost as efficiently as I did in classic in about half an hour. Stop being stubborn and give it a real shot.
You'll probably like it.
tl;dr, stop crying, it's fine, chances are I've used classic longer than you have and I could adjust. You can too. |

if you can't use this studio then clearly you shouldn't be using studio at all. i like this studio more because it has more of an advanced feel to it, and you can actually drag boxes out, something i've been wanting for a while.
all of the people here who hates roblox studio 2.0 probably hated robloxian 3.0. 3.0 was not that bad, you scrubs. |

The new Studio should have the plugins folder like the old one. But it doesn't. I hope Execute Script works, or else I can't do precise building. |

Guys, I had the force update too but I downloaded the old Roblox studio. I can use it but I can only build offline and publish it to Roblox. So it still works! I have my Plug-ins back!! |

My biggest problems with the new studio (I'm a 09er, by the way):
1) The re-size grid
2) Y U NO GROUP TOOL?
3) Can't drag to select in Explorer? WHY!!?!??!

The new Studio is slow, I already had a freeze in less than 2 hours of playing, plus it lags more, I have a game with 7000+ parts and I try to move a couple parts, and it was lagging badly. Plus, finding tools is harder, now that the top bar got smaller, so the anchor, lock, and paint bucket are hidden pretty well. Also it hides the properties and basic objects on enter to a place so you have to hide and un-hide them again every time. Disapointed in the new ROBLOX Studio, the only thing I like about it is the scripting helper.
Honestly, Roblox should at least let us keep 1.0 like they have been until they uninstalled it automatically. I mean people who like 2.0 can use 2.0 but all the people that want 1.0 could still have it, but no, the mods will not listen, they have already ruined Roblox enough, but removing 1.0 is going way too far!
I mean I am ok with at least having a studio, but 1.0 is faster, better and easier plus all my games with plug-in CFraming will be way harder. |

You have no idea how much I agree with this. 1.0 was so easy to use, especially in Build mode because I could get the original toolbox with the models and all that stuff. The building aspects in Roblox have been worse since adding the 2.0. Building is pretty much all I do nowadays, and I even build for a long term game (I hardly can now -_-) so yeah. I totally agree with this. |

I tried to build one of those classic 08 skyscrapers and I couldn't, at all, every time I drag part of the skyscraper, it goes off the studs to like 1.5, and I HAVE IT ON 1 STUD GRID! I was going to build a fun brickbattle place but now it's nearly impossible. |

Sure, you don't even know how you can use it. Stamper is just a few blocks with stupid water, With studio, you can "Fly", you can use stamper there, you can script, you can C-Frame, ...
