You are welcomed to a bleak sight, as your terrible vision returns. A swinging lantern swishes right, and left, and right, and left, and right, and left, and right and left, casting shadows everywhere. The walls are a bleak stone gray, and a table is displayed in front of you, and your own body slumped into such a stance that your foot has lost all its blood flow. Clothing rattling against the stone cold ground, you make your way upwards, tilting rather to the left side, and take a few quirky steps to the table, before collapsing on the table. There are four cards in front of you, and you can only look at them, and slowly reach out to touch one.
There is a Joker, an Ace, a King, and two cards combined into one, four and two.
You roughly select one.

I reach out with my trembling hand towards the king, but I stumble and hit the table. I curse as my body hits the cold surface. I barely manage to rise back to my feet, grabbing the table with all my strength and grabbing a card before hitting the floor. I look at my hand to see the Ace. |
