You advertise stuff a certain amount of times and you get the badge.

ROBLOX used to have a badge like this, but it was for advertising ROBLOX. Its name was "Ambassador" and you may see some users with that badge still, but its no longer obtainable.

Roblox's badge maker was fired. The reason why is because (s)he wasn't doing a lot, and was getting paid. It got to the point where it was ridiculously uneconomical to keep him/her. Unless there's a massive ammount of new, good roblox badges worthy of placing an order on, (s)he's not coming back. Not worth it in roblox's eyes.

"Evidence to support this?" There was a 2008 article about it. Back before they derped the blog and made the very old posts on it inaccessible. "He was talking about site badges that are displayed on user profiles, not real life ones." Which still requires art. Which still requires someone to do them.
