"Yeah," I said looking down at my watch. 6 o clock. "Well," I sighed, "It was nice talking to you, but I need to help my aunt with dinner." I looked at him. "Ill see you around," I said, getting up to leave. |

I smiled to myself and stood up and started to walk around town. I was happy that Elena had broken Damon's spell. I wondered how she did. |

I thought about Damon as I sat alone in my room. That one little notion had completely changed my mind about him. Maybe I was being harsh...Speaking of Damon, guess who knocked on my open bedroom door? "May I come in?" he asked. I pondered my response. "I don't know," I said, "Can you?" He knew was saying this as a challenge and scowled. |

I had a felling that Damon was getting mad. I smiled. Seeing him mad a funny at times I guess. I continued my walk, listening for anything unusual. |

HE smiled again. "Elena," he said, "That's in the past. You obviously aren't ready for...certain things, now, and I respect that." He kissed me then, and I didn't pull away...until he did exactly what he did last time, but quicker. "You pig!" I shouted, grabbing my shirt from his hands, and I slapped him hard. He looked angry. "You shouldn't have done that." he snarled, his fangs growing. I scowled. "You're forgetting one thing," I said, "Newborn vampires are ten times more powerful then any vampire." I grew my fangs out, tempting him, challenging him. |

I had a really bad feeling now. It seemed that Damon was now really mad. I gulped, hoping that he wouldn't kill anyone. |

He growled, returning back to his normal form. "You wimp," he snarled, his eyes still bright red, "Afraid of growing up. You're 16. You need to be more of an adult." I threw my shirt at him. "bite me!" I said, thinking: No pun intended. |

I was relieved when he cooled down a little. It seemed he was beaten in trying to scare someone, I think. I kept walking, coming back to my house. I sat on my porch again and sighed. |

Damon left then, grumbling something about my shirt, although he took it with him anyway. Weird. I smiled, satisfied with myself for just saying no. My mom would've been proud. I looked longingly at my picture of my mom and dad. I wished I could remember them. |

I smiled to myself and closed my eyes slowly, falling asleep quickly on my porch. I was actually laying on my porch right when I fell asleep. |

I sighed and put the picture down. I changed into pjs and fell asleep, dreaming of Stefan...no, Damon...I wasn't sure which. Proabably both. |

I woke up. It was still night. I sighed and sat up. I looked at the sky and smiled a little, feeling comfortable. |

I woke up in the middle of the night. I sighed. I didn't want this, this vampirism. It didn't effect me much, but it didn't help either, The thirst built up, burning in my throat. I loathed it. Why had I had Damon change me? And DAMON, of all vampires, had done it. I should have had Stefan do it. And part of me liked being the innocent human that they thirsted for. I wished there was a way I could reverse it. |
