My idea is similar to that used in games like "CoD" And "Halo" where you are able to pick a short "Name" for your player that appears before your actual name and usually has a maximum digit length of four.
-It would look something like this:
[NAME] ActualName
--Here is an example:
[NOOB] ROBLOX
-Note: The names would be 100% up to the player (As long as it is appropriate) and could also be greatly used for clans and groups!
