My parents wouldn't let me buy R$ or BC back in the day, until I used my own money in 2010. Ever since I saw Teapot Hat, I have been waiting to get it. I was envy of the other users that owned it at first, and I was being a jerk and laughing at you guys because it's going on sale.

I've been trying since 07' to get Teapot Hat, and my dream has come true.
Well, it's my dream hat, and I have been trying to get it since 2007 (NMS262626 was my first account) My parents wouldn't let me buy Builders Club or R$ from the period of 2007 - 2010 (whereas I suggested I am going to buy my own) and they said "*sigh, it's a waste of cash, but all right." And listen, I'm sorry that this hat is a bit ruined, but I wanted it so bad, and I couldn't take it anymore, so I decided to work hard for once in a long time in ROBLOX. |

Thank you all for the posts. It's okay Cookies11111, I understand. I would jump through hoops to get a hat if I truly wanted it. Anyways, maybe ROBLOX can give the original owners a light blue teapot. That way the original Teapot Hat can go on sale, yet the original owners are recognized. This is just an idea of course. What do you think? |

I really hope ROBLOX is observing my argument regarding these hats. After all of my advocating, and the recent news, I feel like the staff has not seen my point of view. When I first joined, the staff seemed more human-like with regards to the way they communicated with players. Obviously ROBLOX has grown into a larger company. I know that they are busier than ever. However, It would be nice if a staff member responded to my argument so I could get confirmation. I would feel much more at ease about the situation. |

That would certainly be nice. I know when I graduate from my university in a couple years and receive my commission as a US Army 2Lt, I probably won't be able to play as much. However, I would still like to have something unique that represents the generation of players I came from. |

And just how many veterans actually wear their classic hats?
A very small amount. Most of them just keep them as pride trophies, and the fact of the matter is that many of the classics aren't even good hats, but because they are old people cling to them all of a sudden to try to set themselves apart from the new members. What does it matter to you if members who joined some time after you buy the teapot? I could care less if people buy the Riddling Skull, so long as I know that I won the game that granted me this hat. As long as you have the hat, you shouldn't care. If you want people to see how long you've been playing, let them see your profile or forum posts as idiotic as this one. To be honest, those of us who are older have the least amount of rights to complain, as we are irrelevant to the audience that ROBLOX is trying to target. ROBLOX wants to reel in it's new players. Nobody really cares for us older players, and we (excuse me as I speak for all of us through assumption) do not give a damn back. Mind your own, and you will keep your own. |
