I hate the idea of doing this for a month personally. I don't want to be forced to wear anything. The guests will be confused as to what they are wearing, they have no idea about this game and are only trying it out.

That is only true for brand new guests @above. A guest who has played this before will understand that it is a hat, just like other people have on.

its not a new guest appearance, its just going back to its original form during 2010 or 2011 it had that same hat that erik.cassel wore.But i Agree iliked the guest appearance back then
